Louis “Lou” Hammer 🚗

Meet Lou — a true Jensen Auto Service legend.

Lou has been with us since 1977… in fact, he was our very first employee, starting alongside founder Marvin Jensen himself. His journey with cars began even earlier, working side-by-side with his grandfather and father — a passion that clearly stuck.

With decades of experience, Lou’s specialty is older cars, trucks, and carburetors — the kind of work that takes real craftsmanship and know-how.

When asked what he loves most about Jensen Auto Service, Lou said simply: “Making memories.” After nearly five decades, we can only imagine how many he’s made — including watching multiple generations of the Jensen family grow up.

Outside the shop, Lou enjoys working on old cars and spending time with family and friends.

Something most people might not know about him? He says he’s “a nice guy”… but honestly, we already knew that. 😉

And in 5 years? Lou says: “Retired. LOL.”

Thank you, Lou, for your dedication, loyalty, and the incredible legacy you’ve built here. Jensen Auto Service wouldn’t be what it is today without you.
