For those wondering how the remaining trophies were decided:
I went off who was in the final elimination round and their qualifying position, after discussing it with David Buschur and the owner of DSport. We all felt it was the fairest way to handle it.

Could racing have changed the outcome? Absolutely, but there would have been no way for me to guess that outcome.

The original plan was to just not award the trophies at all and throw them out since no one actually won, but we figured we might as well do something nice with them. We could have just thrown them out or kept them and told my family who knows nothing about racing I cleaned house this year at the event LOL.

I went off of the data and the sheets that were sent to me to come up with the results.

Now, I work for the event but not at the event because I have other priorities at the event. I was unaware of what was said in the guest service office or what was already determined so any confusions I apologize. I know there are some trophies already handed out and I can not change that.

I just want to say congrats. I know not everyone got a trophy but to my knowledge all the pots were split to everyone who was left in the class.

Throwback to 1998 and the 6th annual Diamond Star Shootout flyer. As said 26 years ago, the IDRC has always been by the racers, for the racers.
