Boy, that was a rough winter, or what? Well, we’re in a false spring now and the calls are flowing in. We’re back to working outside, hopefully for the rest of the year. We have a huge backlog of work to catch up on, and as long as the weather stays reasonable, we’ll get to everything as quickly as possible. Please be patient, as I’m still a one-man show and I can only do what I can. I appreciate you all. Thank you!!!

Hope everyone is safely managing the aftermath of this historic blizzard. We are out assisting with snow removal. If feasible, please help your elderly neighbors clear snow from their driveways, vehicles, and sidewalks, considering the weight and amount of snow involved.

Just a little heads up for everyone. I’ve put a lot of thought into this and I feel like it’s right.

With the continued bitterly cold weather, and my less than perfect health, I am going to suspend my working outside in the cold until the weather breaks and starts to warm up.

Now, I’ll still be working and getting to everyone as I can. If you have a shop to work out of, I’ll gladly come do what needs to be done.

I need to take my health into consideration and with my heart in its current state, I can’t recklessly push my luck.

Thank you for your attention and support in this matter.

Looks like our leak was down to an o-ring that had seen better days, all those heat cycles made it as fragile as a leaf. Swap in some new o-rings and this unit's back in business.

My oh my what a year it’s been. 2025 has had it’s share of ups and downs for sure. Motor overhauls to transmissions, electrical issues and even heart problems. Lessons were learned and all I can do is keep moving forward.
Thank you to my loyal followers who have been supporting me through this journey. I’m looking g forward to seeing what’s in store for 2026!!

Merry Christmas from the JSilva family to yours. May you all have an amazing holiday and a prosperous new year.

Thank you everybody for the well wishes!!!! I’m cleared back to work!!!

I had another episode of myocarditis which is inflammation of the heart usually set on by a virus. Although it was not as severe as the first time, the doctors had to run more tests to confirm and set up some precautionary measures to help prevent this from becoming more serious.

So I’ll be taking more steps to ensure my heart remains healthy and strong. I’m going to scale back slightly on the scope of what I’ll be working on and who I do work for. To my good customers who give me a ton of work, you have nothing to worry about. I’ll still give you the same level of satisfaction you’ve come to expect. New customers or customers who are, well, more difficult? I’m sorry but you’ll have to wait. Im a one man show and I can only do so much.

Thank you all for your support and understanding in this matter. May the upcoming holiday season bring cheer and happiness to you and your families.

A minor health issue arose today. Following morning episodes of chest pressure and arm tingling, I sought immediate medical attention. Fortunately, preliminary assessments indicate it was not a heart attack, and the condition is manageable. As I await further test results, I will prioritize rest and recovery before gradually resuming work. My condition is stable, and a swift recovery is anticipated. Thank you for your understanding and support during this period. We will resume normal business operations soon. Thank you -Jon

What began as a routine cylinder repack job, estimated to take a couple hours, was complicated by the presence of frozen pins. After removing the mounts, we utilized a 100 ton hydraulic press to remove the pins. The mounts were subsequently rewelded, the packings replaced, and the machine has been restored to operational status for the client.
