Just a little project we did on a customers 2010 Lexus IS250 (see, its not only Dodges around here).

The car in question had failing/faded headlights... it also had the adaptive headlights that are supposed to follow the road. Those had failed and the poor car kinda reminded me of Jeff Dunham's "Bubba J".

So we installed a gorgeous set of aftermarket lights.

We also found that it needed new struts all around, so we decided to install a set of BC-Racing coil-overs to not only get rid of the annoying banging and popping, but also give it the aggressive stance ALL cars deserve.

I think the end result speaks for itself.

So whether you drive a late-model MOPAR or something else, if you want a custom touch, give us a call.
We can make it happen.

This is the sister page to our main shop page Bevil Automotive.

This page will be used to show off some of our custom/performance work that we do or have done in the past.

While we do perform custom work, it is not our primary job. Its something we do because we enjoy it... and we enjoy making our customers happy by helping them realize their vision for their vehicle.

We are not the performance or custom shop for everyone. Matter of fact, we are not the performance or custom shop for most.

We do not do performance work for Joe Average off the street. If we dont already have a business relationship with you, or you are not referred to us by the performance shop we work with (Baily's Hyperformance), we flat wont do it.
We do premium custom work for premium customers - and we are not cheap.

Some of the common things we do:
Lowering springs/coil overs
Headers
Brake conversions
Cams*
Complete engine builds*
And more that I apparently cant think of right now.

(* if you are not an established customer or referred by the performance shop listed above, we will not take these jobs)

We specialize in FCA vehicles - 2005+ - but will take the occasional LS or Mustang for a change of pace.

Follow the page... flip through the images... who knows, maybe you will see something that grabs your attention or gives you an idea.

Then let us know what we can do for you!

Had a major breakthrough today on "Frank"...
Figured someone might find it useful... or at least entertaining...

We have been fighting downstream lean codes since the swap. Knew it needed a fuel pump, so we did one... no difference.
Were about to replace the passenger side module when the light went on.

On the 3.5L, bank 1 is on the passenger side.
On the 6.1L, bank 1 is on the drivers side.

Not a big deal on the upstream sensors since the upstream sensors are part of the engine harness... but the downstream sensors are in the main vehicle harness.

So we had them reversed.

of course, my solution would have been to do headers, catless mids, and a tune, but that costs money and this way is free.

Oh well... lesson learned.

The Monster passed state inspection!

One step closer to having this beast on the road.

Ya know... we have been fighting one gremlin after another on this thing since we got it.

Good thing its a shop car and we can work on it when we have time and not have a customer breathing down our necks.

The latest was the car going into limp mode with a throttle body light and P2173 (high airflow/vacuum leak (slow accumulation)) and a couple O2 sensor codes.

We replaced the fuel pump a couple weeks ago because I was almost 100% sure we had the wrong pump (note to self: cheaper parts are typically cheaper for a reason), but that didnt help much - if at all.

Today we replaced the throttle body (since 99.9% of the time, the 2173 code is a bad throttle body) and the MAP sensor (because the case was cracked and I just didnt trust it) - and now Frank seems MUCH happier.

Time will tell if the issues are all resolved, but its a definite step in the right direction.
