It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the Mike Smith Memorial Race will be rescheduled due to the weather forecast for this weekend.

This race means so much to our family, the Smith family, and everyone who comes together each year to honor Mike. We know the time, preparation, and travel everyone puts into this event, and this was not an easy decision.

The Mike Smith Memorial Race is now rescheduled for October 21–25. We hope everyone can join us as we come together to give Mike the race he deserves. ❤️🏁

Also, pray that everyone remains safe through the Tropical Storm that’s predicted to make landfall on Friday and Saturday.

More details coming soon. Please share and help us spread the word.

It’s the final countdown!!!

Wait, wait… who’s ready for this?! 🔥 Big Bucks Bracket Racing - Box!

Let’s share the heck out of our favorite race of the year! Mike Smith will forever be a legend at Montgomery International Dragway, and this race is one of the biggest honors a racer can win.

One of the greatest moments in the event’s history came when Mike’s son, Timmy Smith, took home the win. ❤️🏁

When IHRA folded earlier this year, it looked like our Southern tracks wouldn’t have a Bracket Finals. But Amy Farrow and Gaylon Rolinson were determined to make it happen. With the track owners working together, we put on a Bracket Finals of our own—and more than 300 cars showed up!

Thanks to my staff, team as well for all the work they put in for the event.

This weekend proved what we can accomplish when tracks stand together. To Amy, Gaylon, every track owner, racer and family who was part of it: thank you from the bottom of my heart. It takes all of us to keep this sport thriving, and this weekend, we did exactly that.

You girls and guys rock! I’m proud to be part of this racing family.

Results and photos coming next!
