We really need to plan a little Jeep meet at the yard to celebrate. The first one was a ton of fun then I never planned another 🤦‍♂️

Leaks oil on the pulley so belt slips and the winch has been removed, tires go flat after a while , no battery , rear axles are connected by chain, they shift independently.

Worked great until the lower seal blew, I have plans for something bigger.

91 Comanche short bed 4.0 ax-15 2wd ( pretty complete , rusty bed and body )

88 Comanche 4.0 auto 4x4 long bed ( pretty well stripped but would be good candidate for axle / drive train swap)

88 Cherokee 2 door 4.0 manual 4x4 ( pretty complete )

Still a lot to do and learn with this jeep, but feels good to not have it rotting in the back yard anymore. It’s even a bit peppy for a dirty 2 barrel carb.

1980 CJ 5 with a 305 sbc, sr4 (4 speed) and d300 t case.

The story I got was it lived on a hunt club property in Georgia, spent its days hunting hogs. Even found a 12 gauge shell stuck in the frame and the hood has a rifle rack.

What should I do with it next? Im thinking it should stay exactly like it is. Maybe trim the rear bumper and side steps down a bit.

First time in 6 years I’ve had to replace a caster on the Offroad engine hoist, its limit was moving around a full jeep shell, shoulda known.

Oh well, quick cut and weld now we’re back in action.

If you wanna build one yourself , everything was picked up at Harbor Freight.
