Good Morning to my Valued Customers, Family and Friends,
If you drive by CarCorner today, you might be wondering what is going on. As most of you know with the present economy, the car business has been stagnant for several months. Vehicles, especially used vehicles, are selling above Blue Book value. Coupled with high interest and the need for high credit scores to obtain a bank loan, many folks are unable to purchase the vehicles they want at this time.
With deep regret and since my recent birthday, I am having an “existential moment”. Meaning --That I am trying to decide what I need to be doing with the rest of my life. My businesses have not only been my livelihood for the past 50 years; they have been my identity and purpose in life.
At this time, I will continue to operate Corner Storage, but I will take a hiatus from the car business until the market changes or I decide to make it permanent. To all my valued customers, family, and friends, I would appreciate your understanding and support as I fumble through my “existential moment”.
