The new black sheep of the Badlands rolls into our 2026 motorcycle line-up!

Meet the all-new Harley-Davidson Deadwood™ motorcycle! This model taps into the raw, stripped-down look popular with riders following World War II. Riding together to rallies was a way to recapture the unity they embraced in the military, and one of the most popular was the Black Hills Motor Classic centered in Sturgis, South Dakota. In 1947, more than 400 riders converged on Sturgis to tour the spectacular winding roads of the Black Hills region and visit the communities of Spearfish, Lead and Deadwood.

Inspired by this era, the 2026 Deadwood motorcycle is stripped of ornamental trim and bright finishes yet features a full complement of H-D technology, including Rider Safety Enhancements.

It’s all about the ladies this Friday!

Kick off your weekend at Independence Harley-Davidson on Friday, July 17 from 6 PM–9 PM with The Litas Charlotte chapter!

DJ Tribblez will be spinning your favorite tunes while riders take on bike games, grab food from local food trucks, and enjoy cold drinks throughout the evening. Come meet female fellow riders, show off your bike, and enjoy a summer night with the motorcycle community.

Everyone is welcome! See y’all there!

Trade the pavement for the river and join us for one of the coolest rides of the summer.

We’ll kick off the day with a scenic ride from Independence Harley-Davidson to Floatery, where we’ll spend 4–5 hours floating down the beautiful Dan River. Whether you’re looking to relax, cool off, or just enjoy a day with fellow riders, this is the perfect mid-summer adventure.

Pre-registration is required, and spots are limited.

Join us as we ride in remembrance, support, and hope during the 2nd Annual Butterfly Babies Charity Ride, in support of families that are navigating the loss of their babies and raising funds for local Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Ride Details:
- Registration: 9AM – 10:30AM at Independence Harley-Davidson
- KSU: 11AM for an approx. 50 min Police Escorted ride through Mecklenburg and Union County

Ride alongside the founders of The Butterfly Babies Foundation, the Out Of The Ashes Foundation and our Sponsors CB Cycles, F.A.I.T.H. Riders and Tim The Car Wash Man in a heartfelt group ride that brings awareness and support to families facing the unimaginable. The ride will return to the dealership for an afternoon of community and celebration.
