🏆How Do Trophies Work at the BMX Track🏆
We get this question a lot from new families, so here's a quick breakdown!
🥇 Trophies are awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in:
Strider races
Class races
Or
Cruiser races
What is a Total Points race?
A Total Points race happens when there are only three racers in a class. Riders earn points based on how they finish in each moto (race). Instead of a single winner-take-all race, every moto counts toward the final standings.
Here's a simple example:
Moto 1: 1st Place = 1 point
Moto 2: 2nd Place = 2 points
Moto 3: 1st Place = 1 point
Total = 4 points
The rider with the lowest total points at the end of all motos is the winner. This rewards consistency throughout the night, not just one great race.
Whether your rider is racing a Strider or a BMX bike, every race is a chance to build confidence, improve skills, and have fun. We love seeing all of our riders cheering each other on!
