Twice is Nice!
Race Recap for 5/30/2026
The Booze Brothers Performance dirt late model team hit the track again on May 30, 2026 for the Late Model Sportsman race at the Hagerstown Speedway. Brian piloted the white B2 with Levi Crowl, fresh off his May 16 victory, back in the black C2. Again, the BBR crew, Devin Bishop and Kyle Mellott along with a host of helpers, had both of the XR1 Rockets prepped and ready for competition.
Levi had to start 10th in the first heat race, but through patient and impressive driving, was able to work his way up to a second place finish. Brian started 7th in the third heat race and was able to secure third place by the time the checkered flag fell.
With solid heat race efforts, the C2 earned a 4th place starting spot and the B2 rolled from 9th place in the feature. As the green flag fell, Levi quickly moved into third place before an early caution. Levi found himself on the outside of the first row behind the leader when the field came back to green. From there, the C2 quickly grabbed the lead and never looked back. By the time the checkered flag fell, the margin of victory was 3.09 seconds! As for the B2, Brian was mired in traffic for much of the race but was able to climb as high as 6th, but eventually had to settle for a 7th place finish.
Another great night for the Booze Brothers Performance team. Levi was able to take the point lead for the 2026 Late Model Sportsman championship chase while Brian is currently sitting in 4th with 5 races remaining on the Hagerstown schedule.
