The Blazavich Boy's Racing Team headed to Blanket Hill Speedway last night to take on night two of our season.

Austin in his Hyper Racing 600 Sprint had a great night for his 2nd race in the adult class! He started in P8 for the heat race and drove up through the pack to finish P3. For the feature he started P3. On the start he dropped back to P4 for a few laps and then made a nice pass to regain P3 where he would finish! He ran up front with the top 2 cars the entire race and looked great! For his second time out this kid shows he has what it takes! Way to go Smoke! 💪

Colton Blazavich unfortunately didn't have a great night in his Hyper 600 Sprint. Colton made half a lap in the hot laps and had no power quickly bringing it in. It was then a mad dash for Abby and Colton back to Marion Center to the garage to get all the parts needed to try to get him back out by feature time. Back at the track by intermission the team worked hard to get the car running and ready for the feature. Since he missed the heat race it left Colton starting last in the feature. Colton did his best to work up through the pack to bring home a solid 5th place on a very slick track with minimal passing. Just not his night, but great attempt to comeback. We will have the car 100% and ready to go next race.

Although night two brought a great experience for Austin it wasn't the night our team wanted for Colton. Hopefully next week this kid can catch a break and have a great car!

The Blazavich Boy's Racing started their 2026 season last night at Blanket Hill Speedway .

The first night of the season brought many new things and a lot of learning for the boys. This was Austin's first race with the 600's as well!

Colton Blazavich had a great run in his Hyper Racing 600 Sprint car bringing home a hard fought 4th place with a broken W link. How this kid managed to handle the car the entire feature with it broke and still finish up front was great! Colton also started P4 in his heat race and brought home the heat race win. All in all a good night considering for Colton.

Austin's first night showed a lot of promise. He ran quite a few great laps. He started P10 in the feature and drove up to 5th at one point in the race when his car started smoking. After about 3 laps he drove into turn 1 and 2 and completely had no brakes causing him to run into the car in front of him. Thankfully that car finished the race, but unfortunately that ended Austin's night early.

Not the best first night for the boys, but all in all very promising! Can't wait to get all fixed and back on the track!

It's been awhile since the Blazavich Boy's Racing Team has made a post. The boys have been busy with wrestling, track, and travel baseball...but the racecars are starting to come together for the 2026 racing season!

A special thanks to 600cc Performance for their great work this week on Dave and Colton's new engines and equipment getting them tuned and ready to go!

Hoping to have them ready for opening night at Blanket Hill Speedway ! Maybe with 2 or with 3 cars. We will see! 🏁

The 2025 racing season for the Blazavich Boy's Racing Team ended last night at the Blanket Hill Speedway Banquet! We celebrated Colton as the 2025 600 Adult Sprint Track Champion and Austin's 3rd place in points!

This was another great season for the boys bringing home a total of 22 wins! What a season!

Colton Blazavich ended his season as the 2025 600 Sprint Adult Track Champion! Colton raced a total of 19 races. 18 at Blanket Hill Speedway and 1 winged race at Hidden Valley Speedway. Colton brought home 8 total wins and 14 top 5's counting his wins! What a season! This kid has shown tremendous improvement and has shown he is one to watch on the track! We can't wait to watch him next season! 💪🏆🏁

Dave Blazavich raced a total of 15 races this season. 14 at Blanket Hill and 1 winged race at Hidden Valley Speedway . Dave brought home a total of 3 wins, one being at Hidden Valley. Dave, counting his wins had a total of 13 top 5's this season. Dave shows that he knows what he is doing on and off the track every week! Dave is always willing to lend a hand and give advice. We can't wait to watch him next season continue to race with the boys! 💪🏁

Austin had a incredible season again in the 600 Restricted Jr. Sprint Class bringing home 3rd place. Austin raced a total of 16 races all at Blanket Hill Speedway. Austin brought home a total of 11 wins this season! That is incredible! This tied his wins last season as well! Austin shows consistency each lap and shows why he deserves to be up front each week! We can't wait to watch him next season! 🏁💪

The Blazavich Boy's 2026 racing plans include racing at Blanket Hill Speedway and other tracks throughout the year! The boys have plans for a few other things as well. Stay tuned...........😉

The Blazavich Boy's Racing Team will be headed to Reedsville PA Saturday for a different kind of race. We will be cheering on Colton Blazavich and the Marion Center Cross Country Varsity Team at Districts ! Let's go Colton! This is what all of your hard work and grit is for!

🏁 WINNER WINNER X2 🏁

The Blazavich Boy's Racing Team raced at Blanket Hill Speedway Saturday night bringing home TWO WINS and a 2nd place! What a night of memories with great people! 🏁🏆🏁

Austin started the night in his 600 Restricted Hyper Racing Sprint. In the heat race he would start in P3. Trying the outside line dropping to the back he quickly learned he needed to find a better line. Took him a few laps but he worked his way back up to 2nd were he would finish. In the feature he started in P2. Austin took the lead after a few hard lap battles were he would settle in and start running consistent laps. This feature was full of cautions which bunched the field all back together multiple times. Austin would lose the lead on the restarts twice but each time racing great and regaining the lead. With one lap to go another caution came out bunching the field up yet again. With a green, white, checkered Austin was able to hold on to the lead and take the checkered flag earning his 11th WIN of the season. This win was definitely earned! We couldn't be prouder of Austin this season and his driving. After the races we left Austin take out his brothers 600. He did great as well in the non restricted! Can't wait to watch this kid grow in this sport! Thank you Joey Zambotti and Zambotti Collision Center inc. for the awesome trophy! Way to go Smoke! 🏁💪🏁

Dave Blazavich and Colton Blazavich would race next in their Hyper 600 Sprints. This race was literally the Blazavich showdown with just the two of them battling it out. In the heat race Dave would take the victory with Colton getting 2nd. In the feature Dave took the lead while Colton tried numerous lines to try to get around. With less than 5 laps to go Colton brought out a caution bringing them both to a 3 lap shootout. With a little help Colton got a double file restart and on the start was able to beat Dave taking the lead. Colton led the last 3 laps taking the victory! This was Colton's 8th win of the season! It was great seeing the two of them race each other. Way to go Colton! 🏁💪🏁

It was more than about winning last night. This was memories made and having a blast while doing so! We even were able to get victory photos with our friend and best photographer Josh Prymak! Way to go Blazavich Boy's!

🏁 WINNER WINNER & A 2025 TRACK CHAMPION! 🏆🏁

The Blazavich Boy's Racing Team had another great night of racing at Blanket Hill Speedway! The track was great! Austin brought home his 10th win of the season, while Dave brought home 2nd, and Colton 3rd!

Colton Blazavich is also your 2025 600 Sprint TRACK CHAMPION!

Austin started the night in his 600 Restricted Hyper Racing Sprint. Pulling for the third week in a row #49🤣 he had to start last in his heat. Running a less than stellar heat race he brought it home in 3rd place. For the feature he started in P3 and had a hard battle to take the lead after several laps. Once in the lead Austin settled in running consistent laps. A late caution came out bunching the field together with a couple lap shootout. It was a battle, but Austin finished great taking the checkered bringing home his 10th win of the season. He keeps showing consistency and knowing how the track is and what lines he needs to run. This class is getting competitive and I can't wait to watch this group of great drivers next season! Way to go Smoke! We are proud! 🏁💪🏁

Colton started the night in his Hyper 600 sprint on the pole in the heat race. Due to a not so great start and running he fell back to 2nd were he would finish. After the redraw this put him starting in P2. On the first lap unfortunately Colton ran way too high causing him to lose many positions. He now had to work from the back. Colton battled hard and made his way back up through the pack putting himself back up with the lead cars. Late in the race a car got completely sideways on the high side and came down into Colton's nerf bar. After contact Colton ran over the front end of the car with his back tire. We are lucky Colton continued without stopping and had minimal damage other than a super bent nerf bar. Colton raced a great race making his way back up through the pack bringing home a hard earned 3rd place. All videos are posted! Be sure to follow our page!

Dave had a great night in his 600 Hyper Sprint. He started his heat in P5 and raced one heck of a race to make it up to 2nd were he finished making the redraw. After the redraw Dave would start in P3. After a few short laps Dave would quickly take the lead having the car to beat. Due to a late caution it bunched the field back up. Dave quickly fell to 2nd giving all he had were he would finish! One heck of a race. Way to go Dave!

The points were not apart of our plan this season. Especially since all 3 have missed several races. Colton has raced a consistent season with 7 wins giving him the 2025 600 Sprint Track Championship and we couldn't be prouder! This kid has come along way this season and has proven he belongs in the class! Way to go Colton! 💪 🏆
