After weeks off due to rain the Blazavich Boy's Racing Team headed to Blanket Hill Speedway for the Cot-Tek Express 600 sprint $500 to win Apple Fest and brought home the big WIN! 🏁🏆🏁

Dave 1st with the win, Austin 3rd, and Colton a DNF. Dave heat race #1 win. Austin heat race #2 win, Colton 2nd in heat two! Wow.Now for the long race recap post.

The 25 lap feature sure was eventful to say the least. The track was super tacky, fast, and one of the best it's been all season to race on!

Dave made his season debut in his Hyper Racing 600 Sprint starting in P 4 in heat #1. After a few laps Dave took the lead and drove away from the rest of the pack bringing home the heat race win. The top two had to redraw which saw Dave starting in P 3 for the feature. In the feature Dave battled between 4th and 3rd place for quite awhile. With a few laps to go starting in 2nd on a restart he was able to take the lead from Austin to lead the last 5 laps bringing home the checkered! Dave showed the boys he's back and not washed out quite yet. 🤣🏁🏆💪🏁

Austin had a great evening. Austin started in P 3 in heat #2. Austin quickly took the lead and won the heat race in dominating style. It was one of the smoothest and consistent he has run all season and it showed as he pulled away. With the redraw it put him starting on the pole for the feature. Again, Austin took the lead on the start and would pull away from the rest multiple times in a caution field crash fest race. Each restart he would slowly pull away running consistent laps. Unfortunately for Austin his Dad, Dave started beside him with a few laps to go and Austin came in turn 1 a little hard giving up the lead to his Dad. He then ran 2nd until the last lap where he hooked the cushion got passed and ended up bringing home 3rd. He raced awesome and we couldn't be prouder. This kid sure has it! 💪

Colton in his Hyper Racing 600 Sprint knew before the race started he would have his work cut out for him with a car that still isnt running full power. Dave worked for two weeks replacing everything including putting his other engine in and still did not run full power to start. Colton was to start P 2 in heat #2 and opted to start in the back. With a car that on starts has no power once going Colton raced consistent and hard surprising us all and bringing home 2nd behind his brother. After the redraw this put him in P 2 for the feature. In the feature Colton ran good consistent laps for quite awhile in 2nd place behind his brother until he bobbled, got sideways in turn 3 and dropped a few spots. He ran in 4th for a few laps until he was hit hard in turn one and ended up rolling over. It was an unnecessary hit that ended up rolling Colton over onto his roof where he sat. This was Colton's first roll over. It was a soft one so no worries there. Unfortunately that ended Colton's run for the night. The plan this week is more work to get it running correctly for him to run the rest of the season the way we know he can with a car that is 100%. It's been a frustrating season. For what he had he did a great job. The track awarded Colton with the hard luck award for all that happened. He sure deserved it! Thanks to Nick Freeburg for sponsoring that award! 💪

The Blazavich Boy's Racing Team headed to Blanket Hill Speedway Saturday night after having a week off due to weather. We were hopeful we finally had Colton's car working well. Instead we brought home a 3rd place from Austin and a DNF from Colton.

Austin in his Hyper Racing 600 Sprint had a great night of racing. Austin started in P9 for the heat and raced his way up to finish 4th. Starting 4th in the feature he raced his way up to battle the leader for quite a few laps and then unfortunately spinning out half way through the race. Austin went to the back and was able to work his way back up to finish in 3rd place with one of if not the fastest cars of the night. Austin is showing great confidence and racing well against these well seasoned racers. 💪

Colton unfortunately did not have the greatest of nights yet again. We have changed everything and anything that we possible could think with his car this season. He has yet to have a car that will run full power. There has been lots of frustrations for all. We will continue to work and try to figure out exactly what is going on with the 18CB and hopefully see Colton getting to run a great race again soon! 💪

The Blazavich Boy's Racing Team after a week off headed to Blanket Hill Speedway to race for their fan appreciation night. Colton broguht home a VICTORY and a 4th place finish for Austin! 🏁

Colton Blazavich started the night in his Hyper Racing 600 Sprint starting in P5 for the heat race. He would finish the heat in P2 putting him on the outside pole for the feature. In the feature Colton took the lead after a few laps and was able to race consistent laps bringing home the victory despite having engine issues that will need figured out before next week. We are proud of how Colton drove last night! Way to go Colton on picking up the win! 🏁💪🏁

Austin started his night in his Hyper Racing 600 starting in P1 for the heat. Unfortunately not going on the start quickly dropped him to last, were he would battle back to finish 5th. Starting 5th in the feature he would race another great consistent race with consistent laps bringing home a solid 4th place finish with an engine that isn't running right as well. Way to go Smoke! 💪

It's going to be a busy week working on the cars this week for the crew (ie Dave & Austin while Colton's at Varsity football camp for the week.)😉

The Blazavich Boy's Racing Team raced Saturday night at Blanket Hill Speedway.

Unfortunately the boys were unable to race the feature due to the rain. They will make this feature up next Saturday. 🌧

Austin started his heat in P1 and led all 10 laps winning his heat race. Colton started in P5 in his heat race and finished P3. The top two in each heat had to redraw which puts Austin starting 3rd and Colton starting 5th for the feature.

The Blazavich Boy's Racing Team raced last night at Blanket Hill Speedway after a week off and was able to bring home a big Victory and 3rd place finish! 🏁🏆🏁

Austin raced his Hyper Racing 600 Sprint bringing home his 1st win in the adult class! Austin started the heat race in P4 and took the lead after a few laps winning his heat. With a straight up start this put him on the pole for the feature. Austin led all 25 laps parking it for the first time in the adult class in victory lane. On a rough track he kept it low and ran consistently each lap. Way to go Smoke! We are proud! After the win Austin said to us this win is for Uncle Pete. Ivory Racing 4A and 3 🙏🏁❤️💪🏁

Colton raced his Hyper Racing 600 Sprint bringing home 3rd place. Colton started the heat in P2. After a few laps going for the lead Colton went too low hitting a tire and ended up braking the axle along with other parts in the front end causing him a DNF. In the feature Colton started in P5. Colton raced hard brining it up to 2nd behind Austin. With 5 laps to go Colton went a little high and ended up falling back to 3rd where he would finish. Rough night for Colton again, but this kid has it and we know we will see a good night come his way soon! Keep grinding! 💪

Sunday was filled with us cheering on our Mad Speedy Abbey Ritchey at Keystone Raceway to watch her race her dragster! She had an awesome weekend with a huge win this weekend! Congratulations Abbey on your victory! We had a blast! 🏁❤️🏁

The Blazavich Boy's Racing Team headed to Marion Center Raceway this evening for a few laps in the 358!

Here's a hint. This kid looked right at home behind the wheel for just turning 16 and his first time ever in the car! We couldn't be prouder!😉

After a few weeks off the Blazavich Boy's Racing Team headed to Blanket Hill Speedway last night to race.

Colton started the night in his 600 Hyper Racing Sprint in the first heat. Colton started P4 and finished P2. Colton took the lead quickly and led a few laps until falling back to 2nd. Colton related the car wasn't running full power. After inspecting we found that the throttle sensor came unplugged.

Austin started the night in his 600 Hyper Racing Sprint in the second heat. Austin started P3 and finished P3. Austin ran well taking the lead after a few laps. He ran well until he related it wasn't running correctly. We weren't sure what was wrong. We changed a few things and we're hopeful for the feature.

In the feature Colton would start in P3. With a first lap caution Colton unfortunately hit the car that spun in front of him bending his right front tie-rod. He decided against all odds to stay out and race the entire feature with it that way. How this kid drove the car the way he did is beyond us, but he did bringing home a strong 3rd place finish. This kid has had something go wrong each race this season. With only 4 races in for Colton we are hopeful for a little luck soon!

Austin would line up starting 6th for the feature. He would battle his way up to 4th and ran side by side with Colton for numerous laps until a late caution came out. By the end of the feature we could tell and hear something in Austin's car wasn't right. Unfortunately Austin will be needing a new engine. 😪 Austin would finish the feature in 5th.

These boys have had a rough racing season start but are putting in the work on and off the track daily. We are hopeful for some luck to come our way.
