Recently, one of our customers told us that a local insurance agent said one of the reasons they have issues with our shop is because we "have to look up how to repair vehicles."
They're absolutely right - we do look up repair procedures.
Every vehicle manufacturer publishes specific repair guidelines that are designed to ensure a vehicle is repaired properly and safely after a collision. Modern vehicles are more complex than ever, with advanced materials, sensors, ADAS systems, and structural components that require precise repair methods. We don't guess, and we don't rely on "the way we've always done it." We research and follow the manufacturer's procedures on every repair.
What is disappointing is that following OEM repair guidelines is apparently being used as a reason to push customers away from our shop. The reality is that researching and following manufacturer procedures often results in more complete repairs, which can cost insurance companies more money than taking shortcuts.
Our priority has always been the same: repairing vehicles safely, correctly, and according to the standards set by the people who engineered them. We believe our customers deserve nothing less.
We'll continue to put safety and proper repairs ahead of cost-cutting every single time. π€
