Just picked up your freshly painted car from our shop? Stop before you head to the automatic car wash! 🧽🚗🚫

Even though your paint is baked and cured in our spray booth before delivery, modern clear coat takes 30 to 90 days to fully harden to its ultimate durability.

Here is your Fresh Paint Care Checklist for the first month:

❌ DON'T: Use commercial drive-thru car washes with stiff brushes or high-pressure sprayers.
❌ DON'T: Wax, polish, or apply ceramic coatings for 60 days.
❌ DON'T: Let bird droppings, tree sap, or bug splatters sit on the paint - gently wash them off immediately!

✅ DO: Hand wash your car using cool water, mild automotive soap, and a clean microfiber mitt.

Treat your new finish with care, and it will shine for years to come! ✨

🚗 Do You Know What GAP Insurance Does? 🚗

If you finance or lease a vehicle, you may have heard of GAP insurance - but what exactly does it cover?

GAP stands for Guaranteed Asset Protection. If your vehicle is totaled in an accident, your regular auto insurance generally pays the vehicle’s current value, based on your policy.

But what if you owe more on your vehicle than it’s worth?

For example:
• Your vehicle is worth $20,000
• You still owe $24,000
• That leaves a $4,000 difference

Depending on the terms of your GAP coverage, it may help cover some or all of that difference.

GAP insurance typically does not pay for repairs after a normal accident. It comes into play when a vehicle is considered a total loss.

📌 Helpful tip: If you have a vehicle loan or lease, take a few minutes to check your insurance policy and financing paperwork so you know what coverage you have.

Understanding your coverage before an accident happens can make the process a little easier when the unexpected occurs!
