6L80/90 Torque Converter Slip fix!!

This was a 6L 90 plumbing van that came to us with a burn up Transmission and the reason why I would be somebody altered the tune in a way which it would never have a chance of living!
Lock up was commanded off for the most part and 55 RPM SLIP when it was commanded on. HpTuners for the Win!!!

This truck ran well most of the time with 205k on the odometer, but would act up and throw a Torque Converter Clutch code. This was sent from another shop and believed to be electrical or valve body. Customer was without the vehicle for about a month.

We could have dug in his back pocket and tried those things and then sold him the real fix, but that way would’ve cost more time and money in the end…

Broken input shaft which is spiraling out.

6R80 lead frame job due to having range sensor codes. The truck came in with a P0706, P0707, P1702, and P1921. PRNDL was not working per customer and would not start.

Upon arrival at our shop, we pulled codes, but the vehicle would start however, it would not move.

We pulled the pan and found this.

We plan on proceeding with the lead frame replacement so the codes will go away and we can correct the transmission range sensor issue.
