CLASSIC COUGAR - Sometimes at FixCarNow we get to work on some amazing cars. Since I've been working on my NASCAR project, I've become a student of the classics. This is a 1973 Mercury Cougar. It marked the last year of the Mustang-based Cougar and the final run of Cougar convertibles; a light blue/white Cougar XR-7 convertible was actually the "last" convertible built by Ford Motor Company in the 1970s. Another interesting fact about the classics is they don't need smog checks if produced before 1975!
