We had a great time on our first SDC Member Drive “Coffee Run” over to The Petrol Club . Nothing complicated—just a fun morning cruise, good coffee, and hanging out with fellow members.

Ready for the next step in your track driving journey?

We’re excited to introduce the SoCal Drivers Club Intermediate Driver Development Program—a brand-new coaching program created specifically for drivers who have completed a beginner program or have some track experience and are ready to continue progressing toward the advanced level.

📅 Saturday, August 8, 2026
📍 Buttonwillow Raceway – Classic CW13

Developed by Head Racing Coach Michael Ryan Johnson , this is the first program of its kind at SDC. The day is designed to bridge the gap between beginner and advanced driving by combining on-track coaching with classroom instruction, giving you the knowledge and confidence to continue improving.

What You’ll Learn

Throughout the day, we’ll focus on the areas where many intermediate drivers plateau and provide practical techniques you can immediately apply on track.

Topics include:

🏁 Advanced braking techniques
📈 Building consistency, lap after lap
🎯 Understanding how to drive closer to the limit safely
🧠 The mindset and techniques advanced drivers use
🛣️ Corner-by-corner breakdowns of Buttonwillow’s most important sections, including the Off Ramp, Bus Stop, and Sweeper
🚗 Actionable feedback from our professional coaching staff throughout the day

By combining classroom discussions with on-track sessions, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of why fast drivers are fast—not just what they’re doing.

Our goal is simple: help you become a faster, safer, and more consistent driver while giving you the tools to continue progressing every time you head to the track.

Spring Mountain is officially back on the SDC schedule!

Join us Friday, October 9th as we head to Spring Mountain for a full day on the Charleston Peak Full Course.

Expect an incredible day of driving with:
🏁 Morning split sessions with Spring Mountain members
🚗 Open track all afternoon (5.5–6 hours of total track time)
📸 Professional photography by George Gonzalez included
👥 Limited to just 50 drivers
🌮 Food truck onsite for lunch

We’ve also reserved the brand-new Trackside and Lakeside Casitas, so you can stay right at the track and enjoy the full Spring Mountain experience.

Meet our G87 M2... completely stock. But not for long.

Special ordered as we only wanted the carbon roof and auto. And of course the best color available.

Our goal: create the ultimate dual-purpose track car. We want to prove that you don’t need separate street and race cars—you can build one car that does it all.
