💥Sunday is open, let's go fishing!💥

Fishing continues to be great out of Lorain. Captain Bronson has been busy, but just as you all have come to know, he needs a camera guy. 🤣🤣🤣 here's a few pictures I've taken over memorial day weekend.

The fish have been moving around, with the big blow last week we ended up offshore and found the clean water and active fish in 54fow. The program was still 80-100 back unassisted with flicker minnows and pwc lites. Dipseys did work 💪 as well. 100 back on a 3.5, 85 back on a 2, 60 back on a 1 and 40 back on a 0 setting all with no ring. We pulled small crankbaits behind them. I tried spoons and couldn't get them going despite all the posts saying they are on fire. 🤷‍♂️

Bronson has moved back into shallower water this week, the bite has been slow but steady for him. Same program as above without the dipseys. 25-35fow. The best speed has been 2.3-2.5mph for us.

Lake Erie will likely be closed tomorrow (Saturday 5/30) with the predicted winds forecast but the wind comes right back around to light and variable for Sunday and i have both morning and afternoon open. Let's go full your freezer and make a memory together!

💥Saturday 5/2 Morning trip available💥

Fishing continues be amazing out of lorain. Shawn and his crew had 2 of our 4 trips of catching over the weekend. He had 2 fish come in on the same bait! The fishes are crazy hungry this spring!!!

I had the morning of Saturday 5/2 open up due to a customer needing to move his trip to another day. Feel free to call or text my cell anytime to discuss details if you want to get in on the fun!!

We're fishing 27-35 fow at 1.8-2.5mph depending on direction. We're pulling flicker shad and hit sticks at 60-100 back unassisted. The bite is just silly lately! Let's go fill your freezer!!

💥OPEN SEATS 4/21/26💥

We know it's last minute but we have some open seats for an afternoon trolling and jigging mix trip tomorrow 4/21/26.

Aiming to leave the dock at 2pm. You will be joining a long time customer of ours who is flying in tonight and wants to get out tomorrow afternoon. He knows it's last minute, but hoping to have a couple people join him for am afternoon adventure.

$150/seat

All tackle and equipment provided.

Fishing is only going to continue to get better and better! Captain Bronson Gundlach and myself are excited for the 2026 season!

Here are our openings thru the end of April. Trolling is producing great coolers of fish, the jigging bite is in full effect as well. Let's get these dates filled and go make a memory together!

4//19-4/23 AM or PM is open
4/24 PM is open
4/26 AM is open
4/27-4/30 AM or PM is open

6 hour trips are $150/seat up to 6 people (3 seat minimum)
4 hour trips are $125/ seat up to 6 people (3 seat minimum)

Fish cleaning available, if interested, at $3/fish after your trip. (Filets and Cheeks bagged up) $4/fish if you want the "walleye wings" cut out.

💥FISHING REPORT💥

Bandits and Flicker Shads 60-100 back in 27-35 fow and speeds from 1.6-2mph are producing best for us. We haven't done any jigging yet, but I'm hearing that greens and purples hair jigs tipped with shiners are working great. We have luck on blade baits and jigging raps also this time of year. Cover as much water as possible, the fish are constantly moving this time of year! Good luck and tight lines!!

Captain Bronson Gundlach, Erin Paugh (The Boss) and myself took the Cedric Allen out for a quick shake down trip before the storms came thru this evening. We caught a few fish, everything worked as it should with the boat and the lake was in a good mood. I'll call it a success!!

Fishing continues to be spectacular out of Lorain! Here's a few pics from yesterday evenings trip that myself and "first mate in training" Nolan (aka my son) ran. Excellent quality for a June evening for sure!!!

Fished 44-46 fow with speeds of 2.4-2.6mph. The program was an 8 dipsey set. 3.5 at 90 back, 2.5 at 75 back, 1.5 at 60 back and 0 at 45 back. Pulling flicker shad # 7's. I never had a chance to think about putting a planner board out. The dipseys kept us plenty busy!

I have 5 open seats for walk ons tomorrow (Sunday 6/29) afternoon trip starting at 1pm. $125/seat, first come first served. Call/text my cell if you want to get in on the action!
