⚠️ Rack Customer Notice – Friday, August 14th

The rack building will be closed Friday, August 14th. The office will be available by phone.

If you would like to use your boat on Friday, please submit your launch request by 6:00 PM on Thursday, August 13th. We will launch your boat Thursday evening and have it waiting for you at the courtesy dock for Friday.

Dom will be back later Friday evening and will be able to return boats to the rack at that time.

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. As we spend this weekend with family, friends, and out on the water, may we never forget the sacrifice behind those moments.

May we fly our flags proudly and always remember the heroes who made our freedom possible.

Getting ready for the season ⚓️

We wrapped up a concrete repair in the area where we put our rack-stored boats in the water. It was definitely due for some attention, and it’s looking much better heading into the season! Thank you to the crew that helped us out!

We also added something a little special… a small tribute to Russo in the new concrete ❤️ He was such a big part of our marina family, and it felt right to leave a permanent mark for him here.

Looking forward to getting everyone back out on the water soon! 3 more days!

It’s with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our friend and part of our Copper Kettle family, Dominic Russo "Russo", who left us on October 13th.

Many of you knew him as one half of “the two Dominics” — always side by side with our dockmaster and best friend, keeping things running and bringing laughter to everyone around.

If you stopped by the marina on the weekends, you almost certainly saw Russo. He was here every weekend — smiling, joking, lending a hand, and making everyone feel welcome. His easygoing nature and kind heart made him someone everyone loved to be around.

It’s been a very difficult time for all of us here at Copper Kettle. We’ll be planning a memorial to honor Russo and the memories we shared with him, and we’ll share more when the time comes.

Rest easy, Russo — you’ll always be part of our Copper Kettle family. 💙⚓

⚓️ It’s hard to believe, but this is our final weekend of the 2025 boating season!

Thank you to all of our amazing boaters for another great summer on Lake Erie. 💙

We’re grateful for every sunset, every laugh on the docks, and every memory made here at Copper Kettle Marina.

As we head into haul-out and storage season, please reach out to schedule your haul or finalize storage arrangements.
