Get to know the faces behind the work, hear their stories, and maybe learn a few fun things along the way!
First up… the man who started it all.
Chuck has been in the heavy-duty trucking industry for over 20 years. During that time, he co-owned and operated a heavy-haul company with 35 power units, 2 wreckers, and 2 service trucks along with 6 bay shop. After selling the fleet and shop, he went on to help a local fleet build and manage effective maintenance programs and shop operations.
It was during that time that he saw a need in the industry for reliable, mobile mechanics in the Central Minnesota area. He saw an opportunity to provide a service that was missing and decided to take a chance on filling that need.
The company started with just a service truck and Chuck. Since then, Prairie View Diesel Repair has continued to grow, expanding to four bays and a crew of seven. What started as an idea to fill a need has grown into a team dedicated to keeping trucks on the road and serving the Central Minnesota trucking community.
In his free time he enjoys hanging out with his wife and 6 kids + 1 bonus daughter and her 5 kiddos. His favorite places to take the family is the lake or ocean.
