We’re here with a new project highlight. Let us know what you think of these quick videos!

This is Bryan’s Fox Body Mustang. It’s got a pretty cool period-correct 306 with aluminum heads, a Holley intake, custom Lunati cam, headers and exhaust. Definitely a bit of a time capsule with some contemporary flare!

It came in because it was reportedly running rich and getting pretty terrible fuel mileage. So we’re upgrading it with a Holley Terminator X ECU and a new engine wiring harness.

We started with some baseline dyno pulls on the stock chipped ECU, then swapped over to the Terminator X and got to tuning.

Final numbers were 334 horsepower and 331 torque, which honestly isn’t too shabby for this period-built setup!

We wrapped up with some cold-start tuning, gave her a quick bubble bath, and sent her on her way.

This one’s actually leaving on a transporter and heading to Chicago to celebrate the 100th Anniversry of Historic Route 66 on the Nitto American Road Tour! Pretty cool little time capsule. Can’t wait to see how it does!
