This is what the bike sounded like when I came into the shop BelmontCycle.com last week. Looks like we’re going to have to do a teardown to find out why the bike is only running on one cylinder as there is a loss of compression in cylinder #2.

Check out this vintage 1970 that just came in. Owner heard a noise in the engine and brought it in. After further inspection, the engine only had 170 pounds of compression in cylinder 1 and cylinder 2, only had 50 pounds of compression. The motor will have to be disassembled and completely overhauled. Look for future posts/videos.

To make sure your bike is running at its optimal level, make sure that you get your valves and timing belts adjusted every 6000K. This will make sure that you're really taking advantage of the torque only Ducati possesses. Make sure your mechanic is ticking all the boxes.
The full service includes:

1. Oil Change
2. Spark plugs
3. Drive Belt - replacement
4. Valve - check and adjustment
5. Throttle body service
6. Brake and Clutch fluid - flush
