🔌😅 Wires, wires, and MORE wires!

Talk about a wiring nightmare! 🫣 This Corvette is getting a complete wiring harness redo, and let's just say our technician has his hands FULL!

What looks like a giant tangled mess of wires is actually a pretty intricate system. Every wire, connector, and connection has an important job, and getting everything routed and connected correctly takes some serious patience, precision, and attention to detail. 🔧⚡

It's definitely not a job for the faint of heart, but our techs aren't afraid to tackle the complicated stuff!

⚙️🚗 Is your Audi shifting rough or acting unpredictable? Your transmission might be trying to tell you something!

We're seeing more and more failures involving Audi mechatronic units (valve bodies), and one of the contributing factors can be a lack of proper transmission maintenance!

Over time, old or contaminated transmission fluid can allow buildup to develop around the solenoids inside the valve body. These solenoids help control transmission fluid flow and shifting. When they become clogged or start malfunctioning, it can lead to erratic shifting, hesitation, harsh gear changes, and eventually internal transmission failure. ⚠️

🔧 The takeaway? Don't overlook your transmission maintenance! Staying on top of recommended fluid services can help prevent costly repairs and keep your Audi shifting smoothly.

Looks like we've got a mystery on our hands! The Mystery Machine made a pit stop at Import Auto Logan, and we couldn't pass up the chance to show off one of the coolest vehicles to roll into our shop!
No sign of Scooby or Shaggy, but we're keeping an eye out for any suspicious characters! 🐾🔧

Yesterday Bryan got out of the shop and headed down to West Desert for some racing! He brought along the Subaru and Audi R8 and had an awesome time putting them to work and enjoying a day at the track. 🔥🏎️💨

Sometimes a car is just too cool not to share. 😎❤️

This beautiful red 1974 Volkswagen Beetle stopped by the shop, and we had to give it a little spotlight. There’s just something about these classic Bugs that never gets old! 🐞

🔧 Exhaust noise? We found the culprit!

This 2006 Subaru Outback came into the shop with a noticeable exhaust noise and rattle. After getting it up in the air, our tech found that the exhaust had completely broken right before the muffler.

Luckily, it didn’t need a whole new exhaust system! We were able to weld the broken section back together, secure everything properly, and get rid of that unwanted noise. 🙌

Sometimes a noisy exhaust doesn’t mean a huge repair, a proper inspection can make all the difference!

Check out this ’89 Mercedes G-Wagon with an OM606 conversion, finished in an absolutely stunning Lambo Blu! 😍 Definitely not something you see every day!

This 2020 Jeep Wrangler came in with a drive belt that had been completely cut into two pieces. Once our tech removed the damaged belt and started inspecting the pulleys, they found something unexpected! A rock wedged into one of the pulleys, right where the belt had been cut! 😳
That little rock was enough to damage the belt and eventually slice it apart. It’s a great reminder that sometimes a big-looking problem can come from the smallest (and strangest) things.

How was this car still driving?! 😳🔧

The timing chain had completely chewed through the surrounding plastic guides, leaving broken pieces, and even a loose bolt piled at the bottom of the oil pan. With this much damage, the vehicle realistically shouldn’t have been running at all! Best part is it wasn't even making any noise!!!

Catching timing-chain problems early can help prevent serious engine damage and a much more expensive repair.
