I know this is NOT H-Body related, but it is related to myself and what I have done for years.
This is my daughter and husbands car. Yeah it is a Camaro NOT a Monza or Vega, etc...
It is however sporting a Monzter Racing short block. Built by nonee other than myself. This pass was it's first run anywhere other than occasional romping on it here and there.
Don't laugh either that foreign car he was against runs pretty damn hard in the street racing scene from what I hear.
Anyway, this little 350 has a Monzter Racing short block. My daughter also helped her hubby build the top end. They did pretty damn good by the looks of it. I would say my daughter learned well from ole dad here. Hubby is a mechanic too.
So it needs a few things done to make it better (my opinions and years of experience anyway), but it appears to have done pretty good. It will only get better too.
The kids call this Camaro "Sketchy S**t". Only because my son has done some Sketchy red neck stuff many times in life when working on his previous cars. He even admits he has done Sketchy S**t or red neck stuff. But... he always manages to make things work. This Camaro he has learned from some of the best in town. He has a good amount of our local fast people supporting him.
I am proud to see the Camaro running good. Makes dad here miss the street scene and how I used to tear people up in any of my Monzas all the years I used to street race myself.
They even had a lot of the family out there last night. Sibling support is always cool. All my kids used to go with me when I was racing whether track or the streets. Kept us all together as a unit. My other two daughters had their families out supporting their siblings. Now that is pretty cool in my opinion.
So as a dad, I am proud as hell to have passed on this hobby to my younger generations.
That is the main reason of this post. Not that it was an H-Body or not, but family that has picked up the torch from ole dad here.
