What you never want to see out of your RV black tank.

If your AC in your RV starts freezing up it may be caused by a dirty evaporator core.

While the pictures show an extreme case even slightly dirty core will degrade your units cooling capacity.

Even new equipment can break.

This is a brand new trailer that unfortunately the black water tank was leaking. The underbelly had approximately 40 gallons of black water in it.

If you ever see your underbelly starting to sag it may be a hidden water leak. Underbelly material is strong and can hold a lot of water. Go under your camper and tap on the underbelly it should be loose if is solid it may have water in it.

If you have water in your underbelly have it addressed immediately before other problems start to develop.

When an RV AC is not cooling properly, one possible cause is a dirty or clogged condenser, which can significantly reduce the unit’s cooling capacity. The condenser and evaporator should be cleaned regularly to maintain proper airflow and performance.

🚐 Does your RV smell inside?

Believe it or not, **gray tanks are often nastier than black tanks.** Why? Most RVers regularly treat their black tanks… but completely forget about their gray tanks!

Grease, soap residue, and food particles build up over time and can make your gray tank smell absolutely horrible.

👉 When you treat your black tank, treat your gray tank at the same time.
👉 Have your tanks professionally cleaned on a regular basis.

My recommendation:
• Part-timers – once per year
• Full-timers – twice per year
