Esta semana regresamos diferentes.

Todo nuestro equipo acaba de regresar de Massachusetts después de completar un entrenamiento avanzado en vehículos híbridos y eléctricos, y honestamente… fue una de las experiencias más desafiantes y gratificantes que hemos tenido como técnicos.

No solo estuvimos en un salón de clases.
Desarmamos sistemas completos.
Analizamos voltajes con equipo de diagnóstico avanzado.
Trabajamos con múltiples fabricantes como Honda, Toyota, Ford y Hyundai.
Aprendimos cómo realmente funcionan y se comunican estos vehículos.

Invertir en la educación de nuestros técnicos significa invertir en un mejor servicio, mejores oportunidades y mejores carreras aquí mismo en nuestra comunidad.

Nuestra meta siempre ha sido crecer, no solo como negocio, sino como profesionales que pueden traer tecnología y conocimientos de alto nivel de regreso a casa.

Three weeks ago, we took a big step toward the future.

This week, we came back different.
Our entire team just returned from Massachusetts after completing advanced Hybrid and Electric Vehicle training, and honestly… it was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences we’ve had as technicians.
We didn’t just sit in a classroom.
We tore systems apart.
We traced voltage patterns with lab scopes.

We worked across multiple manufacturers like Honda, Toyota, Ford, and Hyundai.
We learned how these vehicles actually think, communicate,Investing in our technicians’ education means investing in better service, better opportunities, and better careers right here in our community.

Our goal has always been to grow, not just as a business, but as professionals who can bring high-level technology and skills back home.

This training is part of a larger effort to expand into electric vehicle diagnostics and repair, made possible through collaboration with Kern Community College District and California Jobs First – Kern Region. Opportunities like this allow small local businesses like ours to step into the future while creating stronger career pathways for our team.

We’re excited to bring this knowledge back to Lamont and continue building toward our EV-ready shop.

Week 1 of EV training is officially in the books! ⚡🔧

This week we worked hands-on with hybrid systems from Honda, Toyota, Ford, and Hyundai—breaking down components and using tools like the PicoScope to diagnose real-world electrical issues.

Next week we jump fully into electric vehicles and high-voltage systems. Our goal is simple: bring professional, confident EV service back to our community.

Our team is in Massachusetts completing advanced EV training so we can bring professional electric vehicle service back to Kern County. Huge thanks to Kern Community College District and California Jobs First – Kern County Region for helping make this possible.

¡Un gran paso adelante para Lamont Auto Repair!

El Día 1 de nuestro entrenamiento en vehículos eléctricos ya comenzó oficialmente en Massachusetts. Nuestro equipo está aquí capacitándose para poder traer servicio profesional de vehículos eléctricos a Lamont y a todo el Condado de Kern.

Un enorme agradecimiento al Kern Community College District y a California Jobs First – Kern County Region por hacer posible esta oportunidad. Su apoyo nos está permitiendo invertir en capacitación, equipo y en el futuro de la reparación automotriz en nuestra comunidad.

En este momento, los vehículos eléctricos en los que vamos a aprender a trabajar están literalmente enterrados bajo la nieve detrás de nosotros ❄️… pero muy pronto estaremos completamente preparados para darles servicio, diagnosticarlos y mantenerlos funcionando de manera segura.

Este es solo el comienzo de un largo proceso—capacitación avanzada, nuevas herramientas y nueva tecnología—pero nuestro objetivo final es claro:

✔ ofrecer reparación de EV de alta calidad localmente

✔ crear nuevos empleos especializados

✔ mantener a nuestra comunidad a la vanguardia de la industria automotriz
