Attention to detail is important! You cannot leave a scar like this in the top of a cylinder right where the head gasket makes its seal around the piston/cylinder. Customer bike came in with a head gasket leak. Issue turned out to be questionable treatment of parts during assembly. Engine builders and parts assemblers are different... 😎
