Today I got to help another busy mom with the deep-cleaning tasks she just doesn’t always have time for.

She does an amazing job keeping up with her home, so today I was able to focus on the things that get pushed to the bottom of the list — scrubbing cabinets, deep-cleaning the bathroom, doors and baseboards, and even pulling out the appliances.

But honestly, the biggest blessing wasn’t the cleaning. It was the connection. 🥹

We’re all fighting our own battles, carrying things people may know nothing about. Sometimes people just need someone to listen, talk, and remind them they’re not alone.

She thanked me for being there today, but I walked away feeling like I was the one who was blessed.

Another kind human to add to my life. Another reminder that this work is about so much more than cleaning 🥹

Today’s cleaning was a little different than yesterday’s. ❤️

I’ll be honest… I struggled really bad today. I almost canceled because the anxiety and feeling overwhelmed were getting the best of me. I’ve been walking through a lot of trials and tribulations lately. changing my business, selling a house, ending a relationship, moving into a rental, and trying to keep putting one foot in front of the other through all of it.

Some days, I feel like I’m barely hanging on. But I keep showing up. I keep doing my best. And today, I’m so glad I did.

I met another amazing woman and had the opportunity to help her get caught up on cleaning that had been put off because of her health. Walking into someone’s home and helping take even a little bit of weight off their shoulders is something I don’t take for granted.

The people I continue to meet through this business have truly become one of the greatest parts of what I do. ❤️

And just a little reminder about the photos I share: I intentionally post very few pictures from house cleanings because someone’s home is their privacy, their safe space, and their sanctuary. I never want someone to feel like their personal space is being put on display. So I share just enough to show some of the work I’m doing while still respecting the people who trust me inside their homes.

Today wasn’t easy. But I showed up anyway.
And sometimes, showing up when you really don’t feel like you can is the victory ❤️

Today I helped an overwhelmed mama tackle some deep cleaning and decluttering in her kitchen and bathrooms.

The difference in her mood from when I walked in—she wanted to cry (almost cancelled due to embarrassment) to when I left—relieved and smiling. It gave her the boost to feel like she can finally catch up and that she is getting somewhere.

That’s what it’s all about! 🥹❤️ Helping lighten someone’s load. I think I am really going to enjoy this next chapter of work 🥹

Today I was hired to tackle the bathrooms and floors, but when I got to the kitchen, I couldn’t help myself… I HAD to put my hands on that oven! 😂🧽

That was easily one of the toughest ovens I’ve ever worked on. I was pretty crunched for time at the end, so I wasn’t able to completely finish it this round, but I’ll be back! 💪🏼

I’m confident that with one more good round, we’ll have that oven shining and clean ✨

And of course, I couldn’t do those floors without pulling the oven out and giving underneath and behind it a good cleaning too. There’s just something about getting into those spots that makes the whole kitchen feel CLEAN. 😍

I’m already excited for my next cleaning there so I can keep working my way through the house and really make it shine! 🧼✨

Sometimes the first cleaning is about tackling years of buildup, and the next ones are when you really start seeing the transformation 🥰

HOUSE CLEANING UPDATE! ✨

I’ve gotten a little backed up on replying to messages, so please be patient with me! I promise I’m working my way through them. ❤️

My house cleaning business has completely taken off this week, and I am SO grateful! 🥹 Every customer I’ve had this week has asked to get on a regular cleaning schedule, which means my availability is filling up quickly.

At the moment, I still have several openings available, but they are going fast. If I reach a certain number of recurring clients, I may need to temporarily pause taking on new clients so I can continue providing the quality service and attention my current customers deserve.

Thank you all so much for your kindness, support, referrals, and for helping this little business grow. I truly appreciate every single one of you! 🥰❤️

A New Chapter for Ms. Detailing ❤️

I wanted to take a moment to share a little update about the transition happening in my business and in my life right now.

For the time being, Ms. Detailing will be open Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, and I will have house cleaning appointments available Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

Once my house sells, my plan is to officially retire the detailing side of my business and move into full-time house cleaning. Since my house is currently on the market, I truly don’t know if that transition will happen in a few weeks or a few months, so for now, I’m taking things one step at a time.

This decision has not been easy for me. I started Ms. Detailing six years ago with nothing and built it into something I am incredibly proud of. I’ve met so many amazing people, built wonderful relationships, and created a foundation that I will always be grateful for. ❤️

There have been a LOT of changes in my life recently, and I’ve spent a lot of time praying about what comes next. I’ve prayed for direction, peace, and clarity, and I truly believe God is leading me toward a different path.

Between the rising cost of housing, the cost of maintaining a shop, and the challenges of finding dependable help, I’ve realized that eliminating some of that stress and simplifying my life may be exactly what I need in this next season.

Walking away from something I built from the ground up is scary. There are definitely moments when I question whether I’m making the right decision. But I have to trust God and remind myself that He already knows what’s ahead, even when I don’t.

I don’t know exactly how or when everything is going to fall into place, but I know it’s going to be okay. ❤️ I’m choosing to trust the process, trust God, and have faith that the next chapter is going to be something beautiful.

This isn’t really goodbye. It’s just a new chapter.

I am so incredibly thankful for every person who has supported Ms. Detailing over the last six years. Every appointment, referral, review, share, and friendship has meant more to me than you know.

For now, I’m still here Monday–Wednesday, and I’m excited to continue serving my detailing clients while also building the next chapter of my cleaning business.

Thank you for growing with me, supporting me, and understanding as I navigate this transition. I may not know exactly what the future holds, but I know Who holds my future. 🙏🏻❤️
