Today was another awesome STEAM at Charlotte Motor Speedway experience for our drivers at Charlotte Motor Speedway!

If you, or someone you know are heading to Charlotte Motor Speedway tomorrow for the STEAM at Charlotte Motor Speedway, The NASCAR Youth series Quarter Midget races or even the Craftsman Truck race, we will be inside ZMAX Dragstrip with Race Driven Performance drivers Jacob Hassey Racing and Ayden Young Racing! We will be in lane 4 under the blue Race Driven Performance tent! Stop by and meet the drivers, and get a signed hero card. We will be there from 9am until 1pm.

🏁 BANDOLERO NATIONALS — DAY 1 RECAP 🏁
📍 Atlanta, GA | U.S. Legend Cars International & INEX

What a WILD first day here in Atlanta at the U.S. Legend Cars International & INEX Bandolero Nationals!

If the first races of the day weren’t enough excitement, the Outlaws decided to turn it up another notch! 😳🔥 💥

Jacob qualified P6 in what was easily one of the most stacked races of the year. Unfortunately, the craziness started early. A couple of cars got together directly in front of Jacob, forcing him to drive through the grass to avoid the incident and costing him roughly six positions.

A few laps later, it was almost a mirror image of the first incident. Once again, Jacob had to take evasive action and lost several more spots. Through it all, the car remained clean and undamaged.

Unfortunately, Jacob’s luck eventually ran out. He got turned sideways, and another car had nowhere to go and clipped the front bumper of Jacob’s car.

That put Jacob all the way back to 20th.

But Jacob wasn’t done. 💪🔥

He went to work.

With the hammer down, Jacob drove angry and started picking cars off left and right, fighting his way from 20th to 8th in just a handful of laps! 🏁

After everything that happened, bringing the car home P8 was one heck of a comeback.

Hopefully tomorrow we can get some cooler heads on the track, stay out of the chaos, and let Jacob and this RDP machine show what they can really do!
