Straight Up team riders, Wyatt Butterbaugh and Taylor Cook Di Mattia, headed to the Ka Iwi coastline on Saturday, September 5th to find waves at the corner of Kealahou Street and Kalaniana’ole Highway, they found a mix of northeast and south swells.
Both surfers are riding their Purington shaped Chaos performance shortboard. Wyatt in traditional PU and Taylor with his Keahana blank epoxy construction.

Ian picked up his custom board and shared the stoke with his keiki. Some options chosen by Ian were the 5-fin to allow for quad or thruster setups. Also, the swallow which works great to loosen up the wider tail on the Gordito.
