In 1963 a small group of Maui drag racing enthusiasts joined together and laid the foundation for the Valley Isle Timing Association, a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote safe racing. With the formation of VITA and its association with the National Hot Rod Association, the sport of legitimate drag racing on Maui began. The NHRA was formed in 1951, only twelve years before VITA, as

a result of American's passion for racing. Returning military servicemen and hot rodders of the WWII era couldn't wait to jump into race cars and tracks sprang up all around the country. In subsequent years, however, the expansion of suburbia resulted in the closure of most of these original tracks. With VITA now in its 42nd consecutive race season, our track at Maui Raceway Park is one of the five oldest in the country. The fastest run down our ¼ mile track was clocked by a top alcohol funny car at 5.95 seconds and 236 miles per hour, followed by an A/Fuel dragster at 5.80 seconds and 230 miles per hour.

MAUI’S PREMIER AUTOMOTIVE GATHERING BRINGS THE ISLAND’S BEST VEHICLES TOGETHER

Maui August 15, 2026— Automotive enthusiasts from across Maui are invited to attend 2026 Endless Summer Cruise and show, Maui’s premier automotive gathering, taking place from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Maui Raceway Park.

This exciting community event will showcase the complete spectrum of Maui’s automotive culture—from daily-driven vehicles to fully customized, award-winning show cars. The event will feature 4x4s, imports, muscle cars, classic cars, race cars, motorcycles, and much more.

Everyone is welcome to participate, whether they own a fully customized show vehicle, a weekend cruiser, a race machine, or a daily ride they are proud to display.

Activities and entertainment will be hosted throughout the evening, creating a fun and family-friendly atmosphere for participants and spectators of all ages.

Trophies will be awarded in multiple vehicle classes, along with several prestigious Best Of awards. The top honor of the evening will be a massive 6-foot Best of Show trophy and a $500 cash payout. A 4-foot People’s Choice trophy will also be awarded based on votes from event attendees.

Guests can enjoy a wide selection of food trucks offering delicious entrées, local favorites, specialty drinks, desserts, and more throughout the evening.

General Admission: $15.00 Students ages 9–17: $10.00
Children ages 8 and under: Free

Vehicle owners, clubs, families, and automotive fans are all encouraged to attend and be part of one of Maui’s most anticipated automotive gatherings.
