Aloha! Seeking a job? Our locally-owned rental car agency in Kahului is looking for a Manager.
**Job Overview**
We're seeking a manager to run the day-to-day operations of our Kahului rental car agency. We will train the right person. Successful candidates have a strong sense of responsibility, are extremely reliable and on-time, have a 100% flexible schedule, and can multi task while managing their own stress level. We're seeking someone for the long term, and have incentivized this type of candidate.
**Responsibilities**
-Answer phone calls and texts using the company cell phone, providing info about our vehicles and services, providing quotes, and creating reservations.
-Master use of our rental software; creating, editing, and confirming reservations.
-Picking customers up from the airport with lei greetings, including loading luggage.
-Inspecting vehicles at return, documenting and charging for damage, and dropping customers off (airport or port).
-Marketing vehicles to cruise ship passengers.
-Post on social media on specified days for small business posts in Facebook groups and elsewhere.
-Coordinate with our detailing service to bring cars from the lot to the car wash area, then return them to the lot and cover them when clean.
-Assisting the detailing service with washing and detailing cars when needed, and washing cars when the detailing service is unavailable.
-Going above and beyond for our customers, ensuring they have a "White Glove" experience
We need someone who has a highly flexible schedule. We will provide relief for you 1-2 days per week during the busy seasons, and will coordinate paid time off with plenty of notice.
**Qualifications**
-Have a valid driver's license and be comfortable driving different types of vehicles.
-Have a sharp eye for damage.
-Be able to detect the smell of smoke in cars.
-Be able to manage tough situations with professionalism and class.
-Lives close enough to handle last-minute situations (Kahului or Wailuku)
-Able to lift heavy suitcases in/out of vehicles.
-Good with computers, social media, and practical math
-Fantastic communication skills
Job Type: Full-time salary
Pay: $60,000.00 per year

**Experience level**
-No specific experience needed, although experience in high-end customer service is a plus as is experience in a fast-paced work environment
-Must be an experienced driver who can drive and park vehicles proficiently
-Knowledge of cars (from cleaning to damage) is very helpful

-Every weekend
-Workload varies day to day, season to season
License/Certification:
-Driver's License (Required)
-Good driving record
-No criminal record for crimes of moral turpitude
