ariana Islands. Maui Oil Company was first launched by Alex McBarnet Senior in 1982, growing to become the largest Maui-owned distributor of fuel and lubricants on the Valley Isle. The company extended service to Lanai in 1986 as Lanai Oil Company and to Hawaii Island in 2009 as Big Island Energy. By 2013, our company had extended its area of operations to include Kauai and Molokai. As our operations evolve, we continue to grow throughout the Pacific, always with a commitment to being good community partners and offering unparalleled petroleum products and services.
