Honestly, at the Hobby Pro Center, it sometimes feels a little sad at the end of the 2nd race day of the week, because that means those classes of cars will be tucked away as we will transition over to another group of classes, but then we think, "Oh, 🤬 yeah! Now we get to run Off-Road cars next week!" and we get happy again! 😊
For now, we will celebrate the fun, excitement, and accomplishments we all enjoyed during our latest Oval & On-Road racing week which ended on Saturday, 10/17/26. It has been an awesome week with new and old friends coming out to join us, some for the first time and others that have been with us many times; we appreciate you all! Please reach around as far as you can and pat yourself on the back and accept our gratitude for coming out and sharing your love of this great hobby with us! 🙏
This week was full of exciting, close, dramatic racing with finishes that were determined in thousands-of-a-second - as an example, the Losi Dirt Late Model class top finishers did so with these times, check this out...
1st place 60/5:01.845
2nd place 60/5:01.950
That's close! 😳 Plus, there was the usual, but mostly unexpected choas, crashes, and mistakes that keep it all interesting and, at times, frustrating, but in the end, here we are, and these are your podium winners of the AAA-Main format, with 1 qualifying round, and driver reverse order shuffling in eight classes.
Thanks everyone, it was awesome having all 16 of you, plus everyone that enjoyed the crawler and drifting tracks with your dozens of RC vehicles of every configuration. 🙏
