This will probably come as no surprise but we are canceling the races at the RC Race Barn today. The track was too muddy to get on this morning and it is going to rain again at any minute. So we will try again on Wednesday. Hopefully we can get some racing in then.

Don’t forget that there will be no races this Wednesday May 26. The race Director will be out of town and no one has stepped up to run the races. We will try to race again on Saturday May 30, hope to see everyone then.

We had a really good turnout for are first Barnado race. Unfortunately the regular race portion of the event got rained out. After a slight rain delay, where several racers decided to leave the remaining drivers decided to go ahead and have the 75 Lap, no corner Marshals Barnado special race. Everyone threw some money into the Barnado trophy and it was winner take all format. We started 14 wide on the backstretch and off we went at the tone. After 75 laps Tyler Welch was leading with Ryan Trask in second and Jamie Decker in third. Tyler Welch took the trophy and the $120 home. I was really surprised that there wasn’t as much mayhem as I thought there would be in that race. In the end I think it was a great success and everyone had a good time.
