SAVANNAH STATE HOMECOMING WEEKEND!

These former college roommates have gone on to build successful careers, including one who’s a second-generation high school principal and has been in that role for decades! Now THAT’S dedication to education! ❤️

But here’s something he doesn’t even know.

When we delivered their RV this year, I wanted to tell him something, but I knew I wouldn’t get through it without tearing up. So maybe he’ll see it here. ❤️

Last year, our son, who’s now 18 but was only 17 at the time, helped us deliver and set up their RV. During that visit, he had a brief conversation with the principal who called him “Junior” that left a lasting impression on him.

I never told the principal.

Here’s a man who’s spent decades leading and encouraging young people, and he probably thought he was just having an ordinary conversation with a teenager.

But our son, Ethan, remembered it. More importantly, he took it to heart and has mentioned “The Principal” a couple times over this past year.

Sometimes we have no idea the impact we make on someone simply by taking a few minutes out of our day. ❤️ Thank you for being great guests! Thank you also for making an impression on our family and the future of our son too. 😉❤️

‼️‼️‼️‼️BREAKING NEWS! ‼️‼️‼️‼️

Apparently, we’ve decided 21-year-olds are responsible enough to tow our campers! 😂 Actually, it’s our insurance company that made this possible. We always believed in you! 😉

We’ve officially lowered our minimum age to self-tow an RV from 25 to 21! 🎉 Drivers ages 21–24 just need our Young Driver Insurance for an additional $25/day.

Of course, we’ll make sure your vehicle is actually rated to tow the camper you choose. Just because your truck can pull 8,000 pounds doesn’t mean it can safely STOP 8,000 pounds. And we’d really prefer to get our campers and RV back in one piece. 😂

Now, just because you’re old enough to tow it doesn’t mean you know how to back it up. 🫣

❤️❤️And to all you young married couples…

Forget marriage counseling. Actually, that last sentence was bad advice, but…..Try backing a 34-foot camper into a campsite while your spouse gives directions. 💍😂

Nothing says “I love you” like screaming “THE OTHER LEFT!”, “STOP, THERE’S A TREE!”, “JUST LET ME DO IT!”, “YOU SAID I HAD THIS MUCH SPACE (holding up arms 2 feet apart)!” while 14 retired couples sit in lawn chairs, drinking b**r and placing bets on how long your marriage is going to last. 🍿🤣

Good news though, we can save your marriage…maybe, no promises! But…..

Let us deliver, back it in, level it and hook everything up. That extra $25/day insurance doesn’t apply when we deliver!

You just show up and pretend you’re the perfect camping couple you claim to be on Instagram. 😎😂. We are cool with you even post staged pics like you backed it in with your Mazda Miata. Make Daddy proud!

Self-tow or delivery. Your choice. Your marriage, your risk! We are here to serve!

Tag your spouse/partner if you think your marriage can survive the backing-up challenge! 🤣💍

🎬 BEHIND THE SCENES: EPISODE #4
🌪️ Hurricane Weekend… Did We Survive?! Kinda…Ish😵‍💫

Well, all our guests and RVs made it through the weekend, but a few RV parts apparently didn’t get the memo! 😂

Here’s what’s been going on behind the scenes at Happy Days RV Rentals…

🌪️ RV #4, our 2023 Envision, lost an awning arm. Just one, thankfully! Could’ve been a whole lot worse. Awnings + Wind = Uh-Oh

📺 And speaking of RV #4, we couldn’t find the TV remote ANYWHERE. Finally found it hiding in the center console of the recliners. You know, that black hole where things go to never be seen again?
But WAIT… we also found a men’s XL Nike Callahan shirt in there. 🤣 Seriously, HOW does an entire SHIRT end up in there?!
Did somebody’s wife decide she didn’t like that shirt anymore? Was somebody hiding evidence? 👀😂

Listen, y’all, just let us in on these little secrets ahead of time. We’re pretty good at keeping secrets and we’ll gladly help hide the evidence! 😬🙈

🐜 The floods at the campground had ants swimming for a dry spot. We offer comfort, but not to them! Sorry, fellas. No reservation, no entry!

🥿 RV #2, our 2022 Keystone Bullet Ultralite 287QBS, survived just fine, but our guests left without their slippers. Guess even the slippers weren’t ready for vacation to end. 😂

🔧 RV #5… WE NEED TO TALK!
You’re a 2025 model. It’s only 2026!
We ALREADY replaced your RIGHT slide motor, and now your LEFT one wants to quit too?!
TOO SOON!! 🤦‍♀️🤣
Did the left motor get jealous because the right one got replaced? Because this is getting ridiculous!

For anyone wondering, yes, this kind of stuff happens with RVs. They’re basically houses on wheels with a whole lot of moving parts, and sometimes those parts decide to act up at the worst possible time.

It’s all part of RV ownership, and we’ve got it under control. That’s why we stay on top of maintenance and repairs. We handle the headaches so our guests don’t have to!

But seriously, RV #5, can you give us FIVE MINUTES?!

🏄 RV #1, our original 2022 Keystone Bullet, is still out there holding down the team at the World Wakeboarding Championship! At least ONE of our RVs is behaving itself! 😂

🚎 AND THEN THERE’S THE TROLLEY!

Because apparently the RVs weren’t keeping us busy enough!

The trolley now has TWO brand-new A/C compressors, and the system is fully charged with refrigerant! Thank you to our amazing Trolley mechanic! It’s so COOL, literally, it’s very cold in there now!

🧺 And can we talk about The Laundry Lady?!
Our amazing laundry service has been picking up and dropping off bags of laundry more frequently than the mail lady has delivered our mail! At this point, we might as well give her a permanent parking spot! 😂

Between all the sheets, towels, blankets and everything else that goes into getting these RVs ready for the next guests, she’s been BUSY! We sure do appreciate her!

💦 NOW HERE’S WHAT WE ARE REALLY PROUD OF…

NOT ONE RV HAD A WATER LEAK THROUGH ALL THAT RAIN! Our guests didn’t have any issues through it all! They had an amazing trip and made plenty of memories!

PREVENTATIVE AND ROUTINE MAINTENANCE IS A MUST!

We spend a ridiculous amount of time inspecting roofs, checking seals, maintaining equipment and fixing things before they become bigger problems.

Is it glamorous? Absolutely not.
Is it expensive and time-consuming? YOU BET!
Is it worth it? EVERY SINGLE TIME!

People see the pretty pictures of our RVs all set up at campgrounds, but there’s a whole lot that goes on behind the scenes to make those pictures possible.

Some days we’re an RV rental company. Other days were mechanics, plumbers, electricians, cleaning crews, delivery drivers, laundry coordinators and apparently private investigators trying to figure out how somebody lost an entire shirt inside a recliner console. 🤣

But we love what we do, and we’re thankful for everyone who helps us keep this crazy operation running!

SO HERE’S OUR WEEKEND REPORT:

✅ All guests SAFE!
✅ ZERO water leaks!
❌ One broken awning arm
🔧 One slide motor throwing a tantrum-but still working for now
🥿 One pair of abandoned slippers
📺 One missing remote recovered
👕 One suspiciously hidden men’s shirt
🐜 Several ants denied accommodations
🏄 RV #1 still representing at the World Wakeboarding Championship
🚎 TWO new trolley A/C compressors
🧺 The Laundry Lady probably wondering if we ever stop washing anything!

And somehow, we’re already cleaning, repairing, inspecting and getting everything ready for the next round of guests!

Just another week in the glamorous world of RV rentals! 😂

Now somebody PLEASE explain how an XL men’s shirt ends up inside a recliner console?! No pic of shirt, we are protecting its location until further investigation. 😉

Our 2022 Shadow Cruiser is officially on its 3rd trip since joining the Happy Days fleet! This weekend, it’s hosting guests in the Renaissance section at Suwannee Roots Revival 2026! 🎶🌳

Justin and Will delivered it, got everything set up and ready for our guests, and even squeezed in a selfie! 😂

For those who haven’t met Justin yet, he’s also a retired Navy submarine veteran! 🇺🇸⚓ After years of life underwater, we figured towing campers around on dry land would be a nice change of scenery! 🤣

Seriously though, we’re grateful to have him on our team. He’s doing a fantastic job towing, setting up our RVs and making sure our guests are taken care of. That’s exactly the kind of person we want representing Happy Days!

Now the important question… should we require Justin to take a selfie at EVERY delivery? 😂📸

🎉🚁 Not every RV delivery is to a campground!

Yesterday we set up RV #5, 2025 Prime Time Tracer 308 BRDLE, in the driveway of a retired DEA Agent and helicopter pilot who’s celebrating his 70th birthday! 🥳🎂

We’d tell you his name, but then we’d have to kill ya! 🤣🤫

Seriously though, we do our best to respect the privacy of all our guests, so we’ll leave the introductions up to him!

What an interesting career and an awesome milestone to celebrate! The stories we hear from our guests are so fascinating as we get to hear about a vast array of lifestyles and adventures we would never otherwise experience.

And here’s your reminder that you DON’T need a campground to rent an RV from us!

Having family visit for a birthday, wedding, holiday, or reunion? We can deliver an RV right to your driveway, get everything set up, and have it ready for your guests to walk right in and relax!

No campsite needed! We even have generators and can fill the fresh water tank if hookups aren’t available.

Our guests traveled from South Florida to get inland and are now enjoying Suwannee Roots Revival 2026 in our #2 2022 Keystone Bullet 287QBS, all set up in the Loop!

And they didn’t hold back on the extras! 😍

👏 Big shoutout to Justin! He delivered, used our Andersen leveling kit, secured the wheels with scissor chocks, manually checked the RV for level, turned on the propane and AC, and made sure everything was ready for our guests to walk right in and relax!

And that’s how EVERY delivery is handled at Happy Days! ❤️
