Check out a recent review:
What an amazing experience! We're from South Carolina and searched a few states for the best RV rental to suit our family of 4. This wasn’t just a camping trip for us- we had been planning this bucket-list trip for 10 years! Our search came down to Mark and Kim's RV and the following is why. We did TONS of research over the course of a year and a half prior to our trip. A number 1 priority for us was safety first. With 2 kids in tow, I wanted to make sure that we wouldn’t have any mishaps on our 45-day trip around America! First of all- Mark is a licensed RV technician, and easy to get in touch with (he responds right away). So his RV was in tip-top shape when we arrived. So clean, too. First thing I noticed were the best/most expensive Michelin tires on his RV. Not just any tire- trust me, they are the best. A lot of RV owners wouldn’t opt for the most expensive tires. Second, there weren’t any small things that didn’t work correctly. No latches that got stuck, or things that didn’t work properly- EVERYTHING worked perfectly. We spoke with many campers that did CruiseAmerica/800RV (or something similar) and they had constant problems with lights, latches, and other things not working. Third- solar panels on top. I can’t tell you how great it was to have all electrical all the time. While on the road with kids and their devices, or watching shows/movies on the road, too. Plus, it would charge the battery bank every day so we had power even when we were dry camping. This camper is the perfect size. A Minnie Winnie 25B is about 26 feet long. Long enough for plenty of space, but also maneuverable enough to get around town. I can’t tell you how many times I was thankful that it was easier to move around in large cities, or parking at Walmart for supplies (it takes up two spots, perfectly). Also booking camping spots at campgrounds- a lot of them have ‘cutoffs’ at 26 feet long for some campers, so we could book much easier since this one qualifies for/fits in campsites just under 26 feet. We would tell them it's a 25B (25 feet)! The floor plan is wonderful. We’d spend our time at the table playing games/eating, or on the full-size couch. One thing I looked for, was a camper WITHOUT slideouts because we wanted all of the room in the cabin while we were driving (in those with slide-outs, the dinette or family room area slides in, leaving NO room to hang out while driving). Plus- couch and dinette area had seat belts for the kids. There was also enough room above the driver a passenger seat for the kids to sleep in the queen sized bed (both are teens and it worked great!). I can’t thank you enough Mark for keeping in touch with us, and making sure we were safe. You were a great communicator and we loved your clean camper so much we joked about how we wanted to buy it from you! We would like to book with you again when we visit the Florida Keys! Talk again! -Mike and family
