New front wheel bearings on my wife’s daily!

2017 Toyota Highlander!

Started getting a very subtle audible groaning/vibration at higher speeds. Got both new front wheel bearings done tonight and she’s driving like new again.

The old bearings were so stiff I could BARELY turn them by hand.

Yesterday I put some rotors, pads, struts and tie rods on this 2013 Kia Forte.

This thing was in some deep need of some front end work. No wonder it felt like it was going to fall apart on the highway😂 That tie rod was on borrowed time.

Worked on my own vehicle this time!

I have a 2002 Trailblazer with a faulty instrument cluster. Only the tach and speedometer were working. All of the gauges on the right side of the cluster were all at 0. If I hit the top of the dash just right I could get them to come back on.

This bad cluster was causing random other electrical issues. When the gauges would work, the AC wouldn’t. When the gauges went to 0 the ac would work. It was so weird.

Randomly, all of the gauges, lights, and odometer would all turn off as if the car were turned off even though it would drive perfectly normal.

This might qualify as one of those “Electrical Gremlins” people always talk about😂

Got the new cluster with upgraded blue back lighting in and haven’t had a single issue yet.

It’s been a crazy month but man have I been busy!

Wrapped up this 2021 Hyundai Elantra that was crashed! The driver air bag deployed and both seat belts ended up getting locked out.

Replaced:
Driver Seat Belt
Passenger Seat Belt
Front Bumper
Front Grill
Air bag module

Been a busy couple weeks!

Knocked out this emergency brake repair on this 2017 Ram 1500.

The slide pins were seized causing all the braking to come from the inner pads. Your slide pins move in and out and pull the outside pad, inward towards the rotor. This slide pin failure caused the inside pad to wear out significantly faster and eventually, there was no pad left at all. Just good old fashioned metal on metal.

New ignition coils and spark plugs on this 2017 Toyota Highlander!

The back three plugs and coils were buried under the intake manifold. Fortunately, removing the intake manifold and throttle body on these cars is a breeze.
