Today in Frankfort, leadership and commitment were on full display as Richard White State Representative and State Representative Patrick Flannery filed House Bill 282, known as Troyโs Law. With the support of dedicated co-sponsors, this bill represents more than legislationโit represents voices being heard.
Frankfort stands as the foundation of our Commonwealthโs lawmaking, and days like today remind us why the work done here matters. Our representatives carry the responsibility of turning real-life struggles into real solutions, and the filing of House Bill 282 shows what happens when leadership listens and acts.
Troyโs Law is about fairness, safety, and respect for the towing industry and the blue-collar men and women who keep our roads moving. These are hardworking professionals who show up day and night, in all conditions, to serve their communities. This bill acknowledges their value, their risks, and their right to protections that reflect the essential work they do.
Today was a meaningful step forwardโnot just for Troyโs Law, but for every working family who depends on strong representation and the passage of laws that protect those who serve the public every day.
