We all know that painting a car is 96% prep.

But I always have a hard time stopping the prep. I know every edge, every corner, every detail will matter.
Everything has been assembled, gapped, adjusted….shouldn’t be any surprises.

So here we are. This 64 1/2 convertible is ready for two coats of SlickSand, then some carful blocking.

Followed by a sealer coat, and then Base/Clear. All of the unattached parts are already in final 2k primer and ready for sealer.

We love building these Mustangs. It’s even better when the client becomes a close friend.

This awesome Frost Turquoise Coupe was bought new by his grandmother and was given to him when he was 16. It got away for several years to another family member and saw some hard times.

But she’s back to her beautiful original colors, destined for a life of care and joy..!
