Abbott deploys DPS resources to Houston to combat road-rage violence

Waiver still in effect for expired CDL and driver’s licenses

Driver's License expiring after March 2020 are still valid until further notice from DPS.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is reminding Texans that Texas IDs, driver’s licenses, CDLs, and election identification certificate cards that expired on or after March 13 are still covered by Gov. Greg Abbott’s waiver.

11-Year-Old Killed in Golf Cart Crash in Texas

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the deceased. May the other Teens involved recover from their injuries both physical and mental. Its never too early to start discussing road safety. If your Teen is driving golf carts and 4 wheelers, you can put them in drivers ed as early as 14. Let's all do our part to keep our kids safe on the road.

The accident occurred on Champions Drive in Magnolia, shortly after 6 PM Sunday evening. First responders found the boy at the scene suffering from "massive head trauma".
