No better feeling than starting off the week strong. Today we finished up a Stage 2 6R140 for this really nice 2017 Ford.

Our Stage 2 6R140 consist of the following

Mishimoto transmission cooler
BD diesel billet flex plate
TCS billet intermediate shaft
Alto 4-5-6 clutch pack running 9 clutches
Alto Direct clutch
Alto 2-6 clutch pack
PPE deep pan
Randy's quad disk billet converter
Sonnax zip kit

This unit worked amazing under heavy throttle.

A pair of classics stopped by to get repairs/ upgrades.

The mustang is in for a transmission rebuild on the C4 transmission.

The Camaro RS is in for a Turbo 350 swap to a 4L60E swap so he can enjoy it on the highway without high engine rpms.

Besides the 6L80/90 and 68RFE , we are staring to see a lot of 8L90 Transmissions more and more.

These units are rebuilt with a new torque converter, Transgo oversized accumulators, oversized AFL valve ans Transgo shift kit.

Also we add the Superior thermostat bypass valve and Tru cool 40k cooler.

Nice way to end the day, finishing up this nice HD Allison build.

Apart from the transmission build it comes equipped with a Mishimoto transmission oil cooler and a nice PPE deep pan.

To help with transmission tuning we added a Ratio tek pr kit that really helps the performance of the transmission.

There's no secret to keeping a transmission alive. There are two main factors, lubrication and transmission temperatures.

When we build units for work trucks we make sure we address those issues and others to be sure we give our customers the best product we can.

Here are a few pics of the small upgrades we do to our 47/48RE units. We upgrade the mishimoto transmission oil cooler, bolt in sprag, machine the pump stator, upgrade the piston retainer for more oil flow to the rear case, flat sand the valvebody and drill holes in the case for better l**e.

Today we knocked out a nice 6L80 build backed by a 2400/2600 billet cover Circle D converter.
The unit consist of Sonnax line pressure booster, sonnax high rpm pump slide and Transgo goodies that are critical for the longevity of these units.

As you can see we have another 6L80 on the lift that's getting ready for a build as well.
