Letter of Resignation as Owner
Midwest Series and Acceptance

To everyone who has been a part of Midwest Series and Acceptance,

I want to take a moment to share something that hasn’t been easy for me to put into words. After a lot of thought and reflection, I’ve decided to step down as the owner of Midwest Series and Acceptance. This choice comes with a mix of emotions, but it’s a decision I’ve made with a clear mind and full heart — and it is final.

Building and being part of this organization has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I’ve seen people come together, support one another, and push for something bigger than themselves. Every bit of growth and success we’ve had came from the dedication and heart of the people involved — not just me, but all of you.

I want to make it clear that this isn’t a goodbye to the friendships, memories, or the pride I have in what we built. It’s simply time for me to step back and let others take the lead in carrying things forward. I truly believe that fresh perspectives and new energy will help this organization continue to grow in the right direction.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, challenged me, and believed in what we were doing. I’ll always be proud of what we created together and wish nothing but the best for Midwest Series and Acceptance moving forward.

With gratitude and respect,
Troy Walters

A few years back, I came across a video of a woman waist-deep in a muddy creek, pulling a catfish out with her bare hands. I remember thinking, “who the hell is this badass?” That was my first introduction to Hannah Barron and ever since, I’ve been a huge fan. So it’s pretty wild to say that today she’s repping BRUNT gear.

A couple weeks ago, I went down to Alabama to hang with Hannah and shoot a podcast. We packed a lot into the weekend: hunting, fishing, and just talking about work, life, squirrel gravy, and everything in between.

What stands out about Hannah isn’t just her skills in the outdoors (that’s obvious), it’s how she carries herself. She’s unapologetically herself, shows up ready to work, and doesn’t care what anyone thinks. She’s tough, sharp, and not afraid to get her hands dirty. That’s exactly what BRUNT is all about.

She represents everything BRUNT believes in: work ethic, doing things your own way, and saying screw the status quo. Hannah’s built a life on her own terms, and that makes her the kind of partner we’re proud to stand behind.

The whole weekend, she was rocking the gear: Marin boots, Shevlin hoodie, you name it. And she put it through the wringer. Whether we were out in the woods or hauling gear around the yard, it held up without missing a beat. That’s exactly why we build BRUNT the way we do - to keep up with people like Hannah.
