🚤 DEDICATION WITHOUT HESITATION! 🚤

Late last night, Jasper County Deputy Brian Gray responded to a report of a possible boating accident on Lake Sam Rayburn.

When a boat was needed to search the area, Deputy Gray immediately stepped up and offered the use of his personal boat.

No hesitation. No excuses. He simply did what was necessary to help someone in need.

Deputy Gray and Jasper County resident Tyler Downs quickly searched the area near the Umphrey Pavilion and dam. Thankfully, the vessel had not crashed—it was stuck on a sandbar, and the boater was able to safely return to the ramp.

TMPA is proud to recognize Deputy Brian Gray for going above and beyond and Tyler Downs for stepping up to help.
