This is a post copied from my brothers page, who is a business owner, who also copied it from a business owner. We here at Toledo Bend Auto Care totally agree with this as a business and as individuals. We stand together as business owners, proud Americans, but most importantly as Followers of Jesus Christ.
“We strictly refrain from commenting on politics on our business page. That is not what you, our followers and customers are here for. However, in light of yesterday’s tragic events we feel obligated to say something that in fact is in no way political, but in every way relevant to what happened to Charlie Kirk. This is the official position of our business from a business perspective in the United States of America.
Regardless of your political views, creed, religion, ethnicity, or any other human position. If you to ANY degree agree with, take pleasure in, are happy about the fact that a husband, a father, an American, a Christian, was openly and brutally murdered in front of millions of people yesterday, your money is WORTHLESS in this establishment. We would prefer that you shop elsewhere.
This does not mean that we hate you, it does not mean that we wish you ill, but SOMEONE must draw a line somewhere, and this is where we can and have decided to draw it for ourselves and our business.
We pray that anyone who walks through our doors feels welcomed regardless of their views and we pray we can be used in this community through our business how God desires it.
We feel just as small and helpless today as we did 24 years ago on 9/11. And we will never forget either one of these days for as long as we live.
We deeply love and pray that God blesses all of our customers, and may he also bless our country. “
