🦁 **CALLING ALL FRIENDS OF THE LIONS!** 🦁
**We need a few more hands to help keep some great Hemlock traditions going!**
For years, the Lions Club has helped with events, fundraisers, and projects throughout our community. But like many volunteer organizations, our membership has been getting smaller, and new volunteers have become harder to find.
We have a dedicated group that continues to step up — **but we need some new faces and a few extra hands.**
That's why we're looking for **FRIENDS OF THE LIONS!**
And here's the important part:
✅ **NO dues**
✅ **NO meetings required**
✅ **NO minimum volunteer hours**
✅ **NO obligation to work every event**
✅ **YOU choose what you want to help with**
When we need volunteers, we'll reach out. If the event sounds fun and you're available, come help us! If you're busy or it's not your thing, no problem.
🏈 **OUR IMMEDIATE NEED: HEMLOCK FOOTBALL 50/50 DRAWINGS**
We need volunteers to help with the 50/50 drawings at Hemlock High School football games.
We also need occasional help with:
👓 **White Cane Collection**
🎯 **Sawdust Days Bingo**
⚾ **Loons Baseball Concessions**
🛣️ **Roadside Clean-Up** — including opportunities for high school students
🦁 **Other Lions projects throughout the year**

Because volunteering doesn't have to feel like work.
Come meet some new people. Make new friendships. Have some laughs. Get more involved in Hemlock. Enjoy some of the events we're already lucky enough to have in our community.
And maybe even enjoy a few little perks along the way!
**You don't have to do everything. We just need more people willing to do SOMETHING.**
If 20 people each helped with only one or two events a year, **it would make a HUGE difference.**
