Mikes Marine Care High-end Marine and Automotive Detailing

Some crews see an old weathered boat and write her off.

I see faded gelcoat, battle scars, years of sun, hard miles, and a Captain that still remembers what she used to look like cutting across the water.

That’s where pride in the craft matters.
Not every boat needs replaced. Sometimes she just needs the right pirate willing to take the time to bring her soul back out.

Years of experience teaches you when to cut, when to slow down, when to change course, and how to bring life back into something most gave up on long ago.

And there’s something damn satisfying about watching an old dead vessel shine again at the dock.

If your camper’s faded, chalky, or looking tired after years in the sun, now’s the time to bring it into port before the season gets rolling too deep.

She’s shipping out soon.
Gonna miss having her in the trenches around here.

Crew performed outstanding.
Mission was a success and the training exercise proved the team is getting sharper by the day.

Now the bay is clear and the next vessel is approved for deployment into the shop.

If your hull’s been taking fire from oxidation, water spots, neglect, or years of “dealer prep”… now’s the time.
The crew is rolling at full strength and ready for the next mission

Some detailers chase the tide.
I control it.

Depth back in the color.
Reflection sharp enough to navigate by.
Gloss the fish will be checking themselves out in it.
Another vessel pulled back from “good enough.”

A lot of people know the crew at Mike’s Marine Care for big cruisers, performance boats, and gelcoat correction...

But don’t forget... we do pontoons too.

Honestly most pontoons/tritoons live a HARD life.

Beachcombing feet grinding sand into flooring.
Sunscreen on seats.
Dock rubs.
Water spots.
Aluminum turning dull and chalky.

Your floating living room deserves better than a quick spray wax and a Facebook “detailer” with a brush on a stick.

From full toon polishing and fencing correction...
to seat coatings, flooring protection, wash programs, and ceramic coatings...
These party barges clean up REAL nice when done correctly.

Whether it’s a family cruiser, fishing rig, or a full blown sandbar penthouse...
I got you

Fun Fact about Mike’s Marine Care…

I don’t just slap products on boats because some influencer yelled “graphene nano hyper ceramic infused tactical kraken technology” into a camera.

I test this stuff. Hard.

Sun. Heat. Water.
Michigan abuse. Freshwater examples.
Dock rash. Fish blood. Sandals. Gas spills.
Neglected marina monsters.
My own boats.
Friends’ boats.
Boats that probably should’ve been retired during the Clinton administration.

I’m a boater too.
I want value too.
But mostly?
I want a badass looking boat that’s EASY to maintain.

I learned the chemistry behind gelcoat because I got tired of marketing fluff and “trust me bro” detailing.
Those fancy buzzwords actually DO mean something… when they come from reputable companies that back it with real chemistry and real world results.

And every year, I put more proof floating around your marina.

By now there’s a pretty good chance you’ve seen one of my boats in the wild and didn’t even realize it.

Probably because it still looked freshly detailed while the one next to it was already chalking up like an old sidewalk.

The marine industry changed years ago.
Some detailers evolved with it.
Some are still waiting at the dock loading cannonballs onto a wooden pirate ship while the rest of us are running twin turbo center consoles.

The ship’s coming, Captain.
Just make sure the one you climb aboard isn’t powered by wax and false promises.

It’s fair to question the price. Just don’t skip questioning the process.

Price matters. So does what’s behind it.

Not all “details” are the same. That’s where the price comes from.

It’s okay to pause at the price… just look a little deeper.

The price reflects the process, not just the outcome.

Good work explains the price… over time.

What you’re paying for isn’t just today… it’s how long it lasts.

A lower price is easy to find. The same result usually isn’t.

Understanding the work makes the price make sense.

“My neighbor had this boat polished last year… now it looks like this. The gelcoat is gone, right?”

Nope.
Most of the time the gelcoat isn’t gone. What’s gone is the temporary shine.

That quick glow some jobs leave behind can come from fillers, cheap products, skipped steps, or no real protection.
It looks great for a minute… until sun, water, and weather collect their debt.
Then the chalky white haze shows back up and people think the boat is ruined.

That blue boat done last year and already faded out?
That’s exactly why you do it right the first time.

Real correction removes the dead oxidation properly.
Real protection helps keep it from coming right back.
Real results last longer than one season and a sales pitch.

Cheap work is expensive work when you pay twice.
