Mikes Marine Care High-end Marine and Automotive Detailing

Don’t let the name Mike’s Marine Care fool you.

Boats may be where we built our name, but paint correction, preservation, and coatings don’t stop at the waterline.

This 1970 Power Wagon came in with one goal: clean it up, protect it, and save as much age, patina, and character as possible.

We weren’t trying to erase the story. We were protecting it.

Paint, chrome, glass, wheels, tires, bumpers, wheel wells, bed, engine bay... every inch got cleaned, corrected, preserved, and coated while keeping the soul of the truck intact.

Whether it floats, rolls, hauls, shines, or tells a story, we bring the same level of care, experience, and obsession to the job.

Mike’s Marine Care.

Marine is in the name.

Care is the standard.

250 years ago, America earned her freedom.

This July, we're celebrating the same spirit by helping boats reclaim theirs.

Freedom from oxidation.
Freedom from faded gelcoat.
Freedom from swirl marks and shortcuts.

For July only:

🇺🇸 17.76% OFF Gelcoat Correction
🇺🇸 $250 OFF Any Coating Package

We're not a rotary-and-run shop.
We're not a fluff-and-buff company.

We specialize in true gelcoat correction that lasts all season... not until the next rainstorm.

If your boat deserves more than a quick shine, let's make her look the way she was meant to.

America has spent 250 years protecting her colors. We'll protect yours.

Sponsored or not, its the dream not getting wasted...

This weekend wasn't about sponsors.

Not even Mikes Marine Care

The weekend was about getting back in the seat.
Being Team Shorgasm.
Finding my soul again.

Nichole, Solstice, and Harry made one hell of a pit crew.
The entire UBRE family had my back all weekend, and I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to race alongside.

To be part of the inaugural Vee Limited race in Atlantic City is something I'll always be proud of.

Rob didn't set out to reinvent offshore racing... but I truly believe Vee Limited has the potential to bring a whole new generation into this sport.
Potential may be the wrong word.
It WILL bring a whole new generation to the sport!

Not everyone has a million-dollar race program...

Vee Limited gives racers a chance to get in the seat, learn, compete, and fall in love with offshore racing...

Just like so many of you did. 🫵
Now hopefully, so many more will...

Ill be transparent also.
I heard enough in the pits to realize not everyone is welcoming of rookies in a new class.
But...
-Nobody was born a veteran, every veteran was a rookie once.
-Nobody started as a champion.
-Every racer's first green flag is the same.
-Every legend has a first race.

Before you judge. Before you write it off.
BEFORE YOU FORM AN OPINION, remember today's rookies become tomorrow's champions and if nobody gets a first race, nobody gets a second.

The future of offshore racing has to start somewhere.
Give someone the chance you were given.
You can't ask the sport to grow while closing the gate behind you.
Remember... you were the new guy once too. 😉

The checkered flag would've looked pretty good sitting next to the others, but sometimes the biggest win is unloading the boat, racing it hard, loading it back up, (in one piece) and towing it home with a smile.

Mission accomplished. (Im working on the "one piece" part)

A huge thank you to American Power Boat Association, Race World Offshore, Union Internationale Motonautique, Ultimate Boat Racing Experience , Team First Responders , and everyone who took a chance on this class and helped make history.

This is only the beginning...

Next stop: the 32nd Annual St. Clair River Classic, July 24–26 sanctioned by OPA Racing

I'll be there mixing it up with the Bracket 600 guys once again!
And this is HOME FIELD, so please come out and see the team, grab a pirate flag, and cheer us on!

Love you all, and thank you for every message, every share, every bit of support.

Who's got a trailered boat that's been needing some real attention?

I'm not talking about a wash and wax or a quick rotary-and-run special.

Proper correction.
The kind of work that brings depth, clarity, and gloss back to the gelcoat.

I've got a little room in the schedule and I'm offering discounted pricing on trailered boats since they're easier to access and don't require haul outs or marina logistics.

If you've been thinking about getting it done, now might be the time.

Drop a photo below or send me a message.

Angelwax worked its magic.

Now this Boston Whaler is heaven scent and ready to chase fish.

A proper detail isn't just about making a boat shine for a photo.

It's about protecting the finish, making cleanup easier, and keeping your investment looking its best all season long.

If your boat is looking a little tired, oxidized, stained, or just needs some attention before the next trip, give us a shout.

The fish aren't the only ones that appreciate a clean Whaler.

Now booking!.

2012 Yamaha
Owner told me just about everybody said the same...

"Don't do it, save your money, it's not worth it, and it wont last."

I told him the same thing I try to tell everyone... let me do a test spot first.
No guesses.
No sales pitch.
No promises based on pictures.
Just a small section to see what the gelcoat is willing to give back.

That's why test spots matter.

You find out real quick if a boat is done... or if it's just been written off by people who never tried.

I saw enough in the test spot to tell him it was worth moving forward.

The results speak for themselves.

This is exactly why I won't quote major correction work without testing first.

Today I sprayed a customer's dock for spiders.

Not on the invoice.
Not requested.
Not billed.

Just done.

Because boat care isn't always about polishing paint or correcting gelcoat.

Sometimes it's eliminating the little annoyances before they become a problem.

The difference between a detailer and a boat caretaker is simple:

One cleans what's in front of them.

The other looks after the entire boating experience.

That's how we've done it for over 30 years.

06/15/2026

Anybody can cast a line.

The old salts know where to cast it.

That's the difference 30+ years on the water makes.

Boat detailing is no different.

Anybody can buy a buffer.
Anybody can buy a ceramic coating.
Anybody can wash a boat.

Knowing what the finish needs before the machine ever touches the surface?
Knowing when to compound, when to polish, when to sand, and when to leave well enough alone?

That comes from years on the water and thousands of boats.

We've spent a combined six decades learning these waters.

Learning how gelcoat ages.
Learning what works.
Learning what fails.
Learning how to deliver results that last instead of results that just look good until next weekend.

Sure, we're known for correction and coatings.

But whether we're restoring a chalky hull, applying a coating, or simply washing your boat, the goal has never changed:

Do it right.
Protect the vessel.
Take pride in the work.

Because anybody can cast a line.

Experience is knowing where the fish are.

And experience is knowing how to make a boat shine.

Everybody knows us for gelcoat correction, coatings, wet sanding, and bringing dead finishes back to life.

And we're pretty damn good at that....

But here's a secret:

At the end of the day, we're really just glorified boat washers.

The difference is we know what we're looking at.

We know the difference between dirt and oxidation.
We know when a stain is hiding a bigger problem.
We know which products belong on your boat and which ones don't.
We know how to clean without causing damage.
And we know how to make a boat look cared for, not just cleaned.

Not every boat needs a multi-step correction.
Not every owner needs a coating package.

Sometimes a boat just needs a proper wash by people who genuinely care about boats.

Whether it's a million-dollar yacht, a fishing boat, a pontoon, or the family runabout, the goal is the same:

Treat it like it's our own.

So while we're known for rubbing out the competition...

Don't forget we're pretty good boat washers too.

Probably better than most.
