It was quite a special night on Saturday for our Aaron Creamer Memorial Race. With a forecast that was constantly changing and some downpours in the early afternoon, the weather finally gave us a break and we had a beautiful night for racing! We had 247 entries signed in, including 28 Open Experts and a strong showing of amateur classes! We want to sincerely thank you all for coming out despite the dismal forecast and we hope you all had a great time! Sam Halbert came up to try out our quarter mile and ended up taking the win in the 18 Lap Aaron Creamer Memorial Open Expert Main Event! It took four restarts to get the race started after a couple wrecks but once the riders got going, there was really good racing! Adam Costan-Wood finished second and Justin Jones got third. We started the main events with rider introductions and a tribute memorial lap for Aaron, his dad Steve Creamer, Dan Bromley and Alyssa Kruppenbacker. A special thanks to Joseph Bromley, Bernadette Bromley and Travis Friend for leading the riders on the tribute lap. A huge thank you to our SDR Crew for all of their hard work and dedication to put on the best races we can. Also, thanks to the Smoke Out BBQ for being in the concession building and to Coventry Emergency Squad for taking care of anyone that needs medical attention at our facility. Thank you to the photographers that come out to our races!
