*IMPORTANT UPDATE: We are moving this Saturday's Open Practice/2026 Points Awards Presentation and Halloween Bash to next Saturday, October 24th! Same place, same times and more fun!
👉This Saturdays forecast calls for temps in the 30s with wind chills in the 20s (which will be worse up on our hill). There is no way we want to end the year in those conditions and with the forecast looking warmer next week and dry days, it makes sense to hold off a week. After the hurricane rain we got this past Sunday and with more rain coming Friday, the grounds are very saturated and won't dry enough anyway. So let's plan on the 24th and hope for better weather so we can have a great night to end the season! The Smoke Out BBQ is going all out with their "Slaughterhouse On The Backstretch" so be sure to bring your appetites and prepare for whatever else they have up their spooky sleeves! Check out their special flyers below! The clubhouse will be decorated along with all of the pit areas so be sure to bring the kids, get them in their costumes and wander the pits to trick or treat after the practice is over! We will have a bonfire below the clubhouse starting at 7pm as well! Below are some pics from last year's event. We will also have the Toys for Tots box again for anyone that would like to donate an unwrapped new toy for the Holidays!
Schedule for Oct 24:
*Gates open 11am. Free gate admission!
*Sign up 12-1:30pm. $40 sign up fee to practice (must have AMA membership)
*Riders Meeting/2026 Points Awards Presentation under the Pavilion at 1:30pm
*Open Practice 2-6pm
*6pm starts the Pit Area Trunk or Treat!
*7pm - Bonfire will be lit.

FYI.. we may move this Saturday's Awards Presentation/Open Practice/Halloween Bash to next Saturday the 24th. Forecasted rain all day Friday and Friday night, with snow showers Saturday morning, temps in the 30s and wind chills in the 20s wouldn't make for a fun day or even worth doing. Next week is back in the 60s. Stay tuned everyone..

Congratulations to our members Lizzy Kehs and Nick Kehs as they got married on our flat track infield last night! It was a perfect day and setting for it. We wish you the best!

We will be having an Enduro Clean Up Work Party Saturday morning, Oct 10 at 9am. Feel free to bring ATVs/SxS to gather stakes or bikes to get arrows down off the trees. Location is 100 Terry Rd in Harpursville. Thanks!

Members: The club grounds and track will be closed for use through this Sunday October 11 for a private event this weekend. The track will remain closed next week through the Practice Day, October 17, as we will be prepping it next week. Thank you!

Up next and the last event for us for the 2026 season is our Open Practice Day/2026 Flat Track Points Awards Presentation and afterwards will be a Pit Area Trunk or Treat Halloween Bash! There is free gate admission so anyone is welcome to bring their kids to watch flat track bikes and quads do some laps and then immediately after the kids can wander through the pits (don't forget the backstretch pits!) to trick or treat! The Smoke Out BBQ will be there all day and night cooking at the concession stand. The clubhouse will be decorated so be sure to stop in there for goodies as well. We will have a bonfire at 7pm. It's always a fun day to put on your calendar!

We want to thank you all for coming to our D4 Sprint Enduro today! We hope you all had fun and enjoyed the course! It couldn't have been a nicer day for October. A big thanks to all of the SDR members that came today to work the event! Also thanks to Jay for laying out two great sections, to the Barnes Family and D4 crew for all they do for the series and to the landowners that let us use their land. D4 is a great Enduro series!

Things are about ready to go for our D4 SDR Bear Swamp Sprint Enduro on Sunday! Free camping is available tomorrow night. The Smoke Out BBQ will be there to feed everyone that's hungry all day on Sunday. The sections will be longer than last year. We will do official mileage tomorrow morning after we finish a couple things today. Approximate mileage: Section 1 is about 4 miles and Section 2 is about 4.5 miles. It's a good mix of all terrain: grass track, technical single trail and places to get on the gas. It's supposed to be a beautiful day on Sunday so we hope to see everyone! If anyone is available tomorrow afternoon, Saturday Sept 19th, we need help cutting up a few downed trees and cleaning up some of our Enduro trail. Meeting time at 2:30pm. Please bring a chainsaw if you have one, some nippers/sawzall and you're welcome to bring an ATV or SxS to get around. Thanks so much in advance! 100 Terry Rd in Harpursville NY.
