CHARGER MAINTENANCE: ARE YOU CHECKING YOUR CHARGER?

Your golf cart charger does a lot of work behind the scenes—and a quick inspection every so often can help you spot a problem before it leaves you with a cart that won't charge!

WHAT SHOULD YOU LOOK FOR?

• CORDS & PLUGS
Check for cracks, fraying, exposed wires, bent pins or loose connections.
• EXCESSIVE HEAT
A little warmth can be normal, but melted plastic, discoloration, a burning smell or unusual heat should NEVER be ignored.
• DIRT & MOISTURE
Keep your charger, plug and charging port clean, dry and free of debris.
• INDICATOR LIGHTS
Know what "normal" looks like for your charger. Error lights or unusual flashing can be your charger's way of telling you something isn't right.
• CHARGING PERFORMANCE
Is your cart suddenly taking much longer to charge? Does charging stop unexpectedly or not start at all? That's worth checking out.

STOP & HAVE IT CHECKED if you notice burning smells, melted components, exposed wiring, sparking or excessive heat.

A few minutes of inspection can help keep your cart charged up and ready to ride!
