LET’S TALK BRAKES! 🛑🔧

The truth is, your brakes don’t always give you a big warning before they need attention. Regular brake inspections and service can help catch small issues before they turn into expensive repairs—or, more importantly, a safety concern.

Here are a few signs your brakes may need some attention:
🔊 Squeaking or grinding when you brake
🚨 Brake warning light on your dashboard
🦶 Soft or spongy brake pedal
↔️ Vehicle pulling to one side when braking
📳 Vibrations or shaking when you hit the brakes
📏 Taking longer than usual to stop

Even if your brakes seem fine, regular inspections are a great way to know what’s going on. Brake pads, rotors, calipers, brake fluid, and other components all play a role in helping you stop safely.

And remember: waiting until you hear grinding isn’t a maintenance plan! 😬 By that point, a simple brake replacement could have turned into a much bigger repair.

🛠️ When was the last time your brakes were inspected? If you can't remember, it might be a good time to have them checked out.

As the temperatures start to drop, wildlife and other critters are looking for a warm, cozy place to escape the cold—and unfortunately, your vehicle’s engine bay can look like the perfect home! 🐭🐿️

Before you start your car, take a moment to give the hood a good tap and check under the hood after. Animals can hide in warm engine compartments, especially overnight.

🚗 COLDER WEATHER IS COMING — DON’T FORGET YOUR COOLANT & FLUIDS! 🔧

As the weather changes, it’s important to make sure your vehicle’s coolant and other fluids are clean, full, and in good condition. Neglecting them can lead to overheating, corrosion, poor performance, and expensive repairs.

When temperatures drop, fluids that are old, contaminated, diluted, or not rated for the conditions can freeze. In some situations, freezing fluid can expand and cause damage to hoses, lines, reservoirs, or other components.
