Over the past two days, we had the pleasure of welcoming two classes from the Cape Fear Community College Boat Building Program to the Caison Yachts yard — the Wooden Boat Building class and the Boat Manufacture & Service class.

It was a great opportunity for students to get an inside look at the craftsmanship, construction, and hands-on work that goes into building a Caison Yacht. We’re proud to support the next generation of skilled boatbuilders and share a little of what we love about the craft.

Thanks to CFCC for bringing these future builders through the yard. We’re looking forward to seeing where their skills and passion take them!

Today we celebrated the Wh***ey Plank on Hull 15, Caison 70’🥃

This significant milestone marks the placement of the final plank in her wooden hull, a moment worth celebrating after countless hours of craftsmanship and dedication from our team.

We’re incredibly fortunate to have such a hardworking and talented crew bringing Hull 15 to life!
