When Was the Last Time You Checked Under Your Slide-Out? 👀

Water damage doesn’t always make itself obvious right away. By the time you notice soft flooring, staining, or other visible signs inside your camper, the damage may have already been there for a while.

One simple thing you can do is regularly check underneath your slide-outs for signs of moisture, staining, soft spots, or anything that looks out of place.

Catching a leak or water damage early can help prevent a small problem from becoming a much bigger repair.

If you do find signs of water damage, we can help with repairs and replacement of damaged materials and determine what may be causing the issue.

Before reaching out, there’s one important thing to check: the manufacturer sticker located on your RV door. We’ll need the information from this sticker to help identify the correct replacement door for your camper. If you do not have that sticker, please reach out with the manufacturer for further assistance with locating a replacement door!

⚠️ Please note: We do not offer door measuring services, so having the manufacturer sticker available is required for us to assist with ordering a replacement.

A good RV cover can help protect your camper while it sits through the Minnesota winter. Before you cover it up, make sure the cover is a good fit for your camper.

This cover is a little short for this particular camper, but even though it doesn’t cover the entire RV, it’s still providing some added protection!

Don’t let winter take a toll on your RV batteries! 🔋

If your camper is going into storage for the winter, don’t forget about the batteries!

For many RV owners, a little battery care before winter can help prevent finding a dead or damaged battery when camping season comes back around.

If possible, consider:

➡ Removing your batteries and storing them in a warm, dry, protected area where they can be properly maintained.

➡ Keeping them in a heated or temperature-controlled area can help protect them from extreme cold.

➡ Checking their charge periodically throughout the winter and maintaining them according to the battery manufacturer’s recommendations.

Taking a little time to care for your batteries now can help you avoid an unexpected battery replacement when you're ready to use your camper again!
